smoke damaged

This past weekend DH burned the debris piles......huge piles of brush collecting for at least a year. Gratefully this year he kept Simone away as her hair is long and she has a bad habit of getting too close to the flames to bark at the smoke or the smoke shadows......a true Shadow Dancer.

Alas when the wood and brush was burned down, he allowed her into the area and the idiot runs through the ash....dog, not husband.....but the term could apply to both. Are her feet that hard she didn't feel the heat?

Anyway he dropped his clothes outside so as not to stink up the house, but never gave a thought to a long haired sheepdog. Stinko was very happy to run through the house spreading her scent and ash everywhere. Did I bathe her.........no, just sprinkled her with cornstarch and brushed and brushed. I really need a force dryer..............

Did the cornstarch work?

My DH forgot about the dogs yet again while he was painting last weekend.....
Luckily he was able to clean up the paw prints before I got home.
One of the Sheepie stepped in the paint.... If there is something to be stepped in...leave it up to our wonderful dogs to find it.

I dunno........sounds stylish to me.
Does "DH" mean what I think it means?

Oop!!
No, no Dear Husband is much nicer. I just know how I would have thought if my baby was smokey or covered in paint, because of my DH.
That's too funny
:D

Had a few chuckles when reading this post. Oh sheesh...nothing like the smell of a dirty dog! ... the four legged one.

DARLING HONEY, right
sorry Tammy, missed the proper site for posting.........and I didn't use enough corn starch to make her "white".

D in DH varies with what is appropriate at the time
