I just got home with him.The shelter said he was an owner turn in but did not say why.He needs a bath and it appears that he has a rash or chemical burn on his rearend. He has already been fixedbut I do not think the shelter knew guess they will know when they get vet report showing that I got the required vet stuff done.
Woo hoo!!! Thank you!

(Pictures please!)
Thanks so much for getting him the medical care he needed.
I hope his bottom heals up quickly and that he'll be a great companion.
Steve!!!! :clappurple: :go: :cheer:
Steve, you rock!
This is so fantastic!! Made my whole day!! I just spent the afternoon subsitute teaching for some less-than-wonderful children and this news was exactly the pick-me-up that I needed!!! Thanks, Steve!!!
you are our hero of the day.. are you keeping him??
Hi Steve-
Any updates on your new sheepie-boy?
Just wondering how he's settling in, what he's like, if they figured out what
the rash is, etc. You know... the usual nosy stuff
Hi everyone
He's doing o'k right now.May take a few days for him to get used to new sorroundimgs and the rest of the pack.I do plan on keeping him and will get him to vet for complete checkup. Will find out about rash then.He has good temperment, house trained, kind of wonder why he was turned in.
Thank you for rescuing him, Steve!
We need pics. :D
Way to go Steve!!! :clappurple:
Steve, that is so great! Congrats to you! I may have missed it, but does he have a name yet?
Sometimes there doesn't need to be a "reason". My nephew's girlfriend and then wife decided that she didn't like his little dog. His parents now have the dog who is so good natured. If you mention my nephew's wife's name he will growl.
Steve is great! A few months ago we had an incident where our then 6 month old sheppie Murphy bit my 6 year old daughter. We thought we were going to have to give him up therefore I contacted Steve and he was very helpful in answering all of my questions and addressing all of my concerns. He very patiently spent about and hour and a half on the phone with me at 10:00 at night! I am happy to say that we have kept Murphy and that he and Megan have gotten to be great friends and he is a big part of our family! Thanks Steve. You are very appreciated!
