Well, I'm at work. Hard to believe. I'm checking in here about every hour. Lost 1 pound this week.
I'm at work too, it's been a SUCKEY week so far and it's only TUESDAY :(
I just put my granddaughter down for a nap... :D ..whew....this grandma is worn out. I would normally be at work today taking care of my parents...but I had one of my sisters fill in for me today. Other than that....nothing too exiting.
im here at work, not working....everyone is boring today....

someone give me something juicey.........
Yea...I'm work today too. I'm really bored. Tons of stuff to do, but no motivation.

Paula, that's great about the pound!!! :clappurple: I'm seriously tracking this week. I still have few more to get where I really want to be. I have to stop screwing around with it!

Oh...did I mention...I HAVE A SECRET?

I've had a bad day at work :( I'm so totally sick of my tuesday job, I dread Tuesdays because I come out sooooo depressed.
AND the FULL MOON is killing me!!! I know it sounds crazy but I have full moon aches. I get this sometimes, headache, I'm all bloaty & my skin hurts & I keep bursting into tears for no good reason. Just like PMT  so I'm staying in this evening & having an early night.

Hold on...... what secret?? I've perked up now lol just whisper, nobody else will hear......

Is it a rent to own kind of thing?

Ha ha...I don't know. We are going into this with the idea of fostering until she finds a furever home.

However...I hear of more and more foster failures...that being foster homes ending up adopting!

We'll see what happens.

Yes, right :D :D :D Fozzie's looking forward to playing with Molly! I do need to convince Steve that not all girl sheepdogs act like Annie and Izzie  Otherwise, it will always be boys!
Yeah!!!! How exciting. I can't wait to hear all about it!!!
Foster Failures?? No that is success! Still fostering is fun and heart breaking when they leave, but you know they are going to a great home! Yes, even better than yours because they are often the "only child" and spoiled more rotten than you could have done.
A new sheepie!!!! how very exciting....................CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
Hey if your getting a new puppy tht counts as preggers doesn't it

I have a count down clock on my computer desktop! of course its ove 9 years away for early retirement :(
Sorry I didn't get to hang out here with you yesterday, Deb. I had to go to a WBE meeting in Raleigh. The roads were nasty  and it was a miserable day for traveling. But, the meeting was productive, so I guess it was worth it. 8)

Congrats on being a foster mom!! :cheer: When do you get her?? :cheer:
I was gone from home all day yesterday. It started out as a great day - we had a meeting with all the trainers that are going to be teaching at the new boarding/training facility. (Being built by the pet supply that I currently have my classes at.) It is a huge state of the art building, over 4 million dollars! all rubber floors, training room the size of a gym, boarding for 100 dogs - all deluxe like Alameda East where Val had Chum and Maggie. Outdoors the play areas are astroturf. Rehab center with a pool and hydrotherapy treadmills - the works.
Went out to lunch with friends.

Then the bad news - got a call that Todd's dad was unresponsive - slumped over at the kitchen table. One of Todd's brothers found him. 911 call, ambulance ride into town. He has been declining ever since Todd's mom died in June. He just gave up his will to live. So, we stopped all the support, and he passed away peacefully at 4:30. They are together now.
Dawn, I'm so sorry. :ghug:
Awww...Dawn...I'm so sorry. Your family will be in our prayers. :(
So sorry, Dawn
My deepest condolences, Dawn. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Dawn, as you know we just went through that...I'm so sorry
I'm so sorry for you and your family , my prayers and thoughts are with you
Thanks guys - you are all great.
I know it happens often - the grieving after losing your spouse after nearly 50 yrs of marriage. We all just wish he would have been here with all the rest of us. We really, really tried to be there for him. Nothing is more heartbreaking than watching a perfectly healthy person just literally shrivel up and die before your eyes.
Dawn and Todd, I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. :ghug:
Dawn and todd sorry to hear the news, 50 years together now together again forever.

Condolences to you all. :(
my grandparents pass away with in 3 months of each other, i don't think soulmates can live with out each other. they wil be happy now they are back together.

i'm sorry for your loss

zoe and einy
Dawn I am so sorry for the loss of your fil. We went through a similar thing with both my parents and my in laws, both died within a short period of time of the other's passing. It is very hard on the family, but he is at peace now.

Tears,
