Our puppy ate the door and now is acting sick

We have a new puppy :D but............we were gone today and my daughter left her in her bathroom....Everything was put up...her food and water left in there as well as her toys.....but when we came home she had chewed the bottem part of the door into splinters....She is a little dog at that so we did not think she could do much harm..eleven week old peek-a-shu....anyhow she was fine when we got home but now is just laying around not wanting to play and wants to just be held. Seems llike she feels bad.
I know dogs chew but anyone else encountered this before.....

I would worry that one of the pieces of wood is blocking her. Is she able to pass stool? Ha she vomitted at all or attmepted to and couldn't? Is she eating?

This is just another reason why crate training is so important. You never know what a puppy can get into when left alone. I would make a visit to the Vet if she continues to act lethargic...Hope it works out and puppy is feeling better soon.
I'm a little more than worried. Look up the emergency vet phone number. You may need to make an emergency trip tonight. Have you felt inside her mouth to see if there's a piece caught in the roof of her mouth. I also worry about toxic substances on the door or paint.

Never leave a puppy unattended. The crate is not cruel, it is their safety pen, their den.
A few years back I had a dog in rescue for only 4 days. He perforated his intestine by ingesting a piece of wood or bone splinter. Nothing came up in X-rays it was so small, but he slowly got poisoned.

Get this puppy to a vet. There is also the chance of lead poisoning from the paint.
