Blue being a tease, how to stop

Blue just started to tease Dakota(poodle) Whenever Dakota has a bone(Not real) Blue will bark, bark BARK at her well tail is wagging...Dakota growls VERY loud for a small dog and also BARK and TAIL wagging, of course BLUE wants the bone, his stuff was forever being taken away from Sami so now its his turn  I shake a jar will pennies, stop of a second then back at, yell stop  I end up taking the bone away, If I have one for each they always want the same one. just like kids. :lmt: ANY ideas out there, he is now starting on doggie treats he will gobble his and go and try and steal hers... she is to busy growling and barking to eat it and he will get it... I give it to her and say run to the closet and she takes off and hides, but Blue now finds her... it seems to be a game so big dog treats outside and Dakota inside. BUT what a brat its like nagging at kids to stop before someone get hurt or upset AND it always seems to be when I but in a movie to watch.

Boy!! can I relate!!

Heart and Cosmo do the same thing...

Cosmo will be chewing on a bone and Heart will get in his face and bark, bark,bark...Cosmo will do a soft growl, but Heart knows he won't do anything and she keeps it up. Heart will just go in and take it and run, while Cosmo just sits there. Once he notices that he doesn't have the bone anymore (poor Cos) he runs after Heart and they tug of war with the bone. Heart always wins.

She will walk past him and almost shove the bone in his face, like "Ha, ha...I got it and YOU don't!" If Cos ignores her she keeps shoving it in his face until he get mad and jumps on her and they get into a barking match.

This continues until Pearl gets her fill...THEN SHE will get up, get in between both of them and do a mighty BARK BARK....that is when it finally ends and they go into their respective corners and leave each other alone....

This would work great if I could get Pearl to handle it on my terms, when I've had enough!!! But she won't.............NOPE!!!! It's when they begin to disturb her sleep that she springs into action.........

Just as you, they have a ginormous basket with 13 (I counted them)....13 bones. and countless stuffies.
LMAO!!! Sounds like my house.
Give Dakota her treats first and then lure Sami and Blue away in another room to receive theirs-- and take your time. Make them sit, dance, whatever. That should give Dakota a head start on the smaller treats that are consumed quicker. It's not exactly a trained fix but it does make it easier.

As for bones and chews, can you separate them during this time? I think you're going to have an easier time dealing with the behavior just trying to prevent it then trying to train it out. My poor old Lucy is so slow, and her vision and hearing aren't good so unless we give treats carefully, Lucy's get stolen so we've gotten very used to this kind of thing, too!
This started at our house when Boni was about 4-5 months old. He used to chew on Lumpi's ears and when Lumpi got pissed of, Boni would run underneath the coffee table and bark non-stop - pretty smart knowing Lumpi didn't fit there. ;)

He also started this with the marrow bones and for a couple of times I tried Jill's advice but then I thought I wonder what Lumpi would do when he really gets mad (he is extremely patient!). So, I let Boni bark at Lumpi while he was trying to chew on his bone and I pretended not to see anything. 8)

Lumpi's been growling at him for a while and after about 5 minutes he snapped at Boni. He was SCREAMING as if he was being murdered!!! Run underneath the coffee table and carried on screaming. I still pretended not to see any of this. 8)

Boni realizing that nobody cared about him, he went to his own bone and started to chew on it.

Since that time this is how they've been chewing on their bones.

If Sami and Blue have their bones they are fine, they may steal the other ones bone but then they just take they other. Dakota now who knows  I have tried to give treat first but she will sit there and not eat it. Until the others have theirs AND still waits till they are done then barks and growls. I given nice little treats, but of course they smell that good Sami,Blue want that not the bones.

Kata---sounds just like what Heart does....only NOW she is getting too big to "hide" under my dining room table....last week she went under and couldn't get out!!!!! She whined and screamed until I took one of the chairs away so she could escape...
giggle... Blue did that but under the bed 2AM
Ej, it sounds that your pups have a pack order and she has to respect the higher ranked dogs. She is not allowed to eat before they do.

This means the situation is not going to change if you are not going to change the pack order. Unless you want to feed them in separate rooms.

Val, they are nuts! Boni used to sleep underneath my chair until one day he just knocked it over when he wanted to squeeze himself under it.
Chauncey loved to sleep under my quilt rack that was behind our family room door. Well he outgrew that favorite spot pretty quickly and I figured he could find another favorite. One day I came home and Chauncey was behind the door sleeping soundly, the quilt rack has yet to be found, but the antique quilt was nicely displayed elsewhere. Bob knows nothing about the redecorating, so I'm assuming Chauncey has been watching too much HGTV. BTW 2 years later it's still one of his favorite spots.
Sounds like my house too.
