they look great, sami wears things has to elastics anything else Blue pulls them faster then I put them in... Blue does not need any yet.
Aw, so cute!!
Your two are magnificent! My girl is a tom boy at heart, so I just keep puting them back in, and you can see her here at 2yrs old wearing one. It took patience, but what doesn't? In the end she's safer out of the house with one on and she now accepts it, mostly....
:clappurple:
Great job!
Congrats!! :D I finally got Genny to wear one for awhile, but when I came home yesterday, it was out and the elastic is missing.
That is nice she finally graduated to a real topknot!

Chewie always has one in, and luckily he likes it. He has never had that hair trimmed (except by the other dogs gabbing it!) and he can't see a thing without it. His white hair is real thick and has lots of texture - so he really needs it pulled up to be able to see.

He loves the attention too. Last evening after Todd was home from work he noticed that the dogs had been pulling the topknot out. Todd starts baby talking to him about not being able to see (so cute) and Chewie wiggles up to him. Todd puts a new topknot in, and Chew just sits there, soaking it all up. Todd did a darn good job too. It must help that he has long hair and does his own in a ponytail too!
Dawn--

Heart is like that too....When I can't see her eyes and know it's time for a re-do....I'll call her over and tell her to sit. She gets really close to me and I'll undo her hair, comb it (to get the tangles out, don't cha know)and put it up again...all the while she is staring at me...

I am sooooo in love with her...................

but................ she is soo bad to my poor Cosmo boy...she is always yelling at him, jumping on his back, pulling toys out of his mouth.....AND HE LET'S HER!!!!!

Pearl..........there is a lot of respect there from Heart. She does defer to Momma Pearl---SHE IS THE BOSS..and if by chance Heart forgets it.......Pearl has no problem reminding her!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean - Chewie just gazes up with his big brown eyes too! Todd even commented how he loved Chewie's eyes. :D
I am soo proud of you.....it looks great!

alas, Panda (errr mommy) couldnt handle the blind dog look and cut her bangs....i guess she will never know the luxury of a pony tail!
Ah, she looks wonderful! Boni has one too but I take it out when we go for walks because people say "Oh, he is so cute!...oh sorry I didn't see HER pony tail!" So, to avoid confusion I let him be a little blind - good thing we live in the windy city.

Darcy, my sister asked me why don't I cut the hair in front of his eyes. I said "because I don't want him to look silly." She started to laugh and said, "because he doesn't look silly with a pony tail!"

Godd one ...Kata!!!!!
She looks cute, Val. I like the pigtails on the girls but I never thought of putting Mopsy's hair up (the boys would have hated me making their "sister" all girly). Of course Harry only wears a top knot for agility.

You might check the yard in a few days for the missing elastic.
I expect to find dozens out in the dog yard come spring!
Yes it does take time to get the hair long enough to put into a topknot. Then you are all excited and they pull it out. Don't worry they will learn to like it. Now Obe hates when his hair is in his eyes. He still messes with it if I get it a little to tight and will let me know that it needs to be fixed. Congrats!!!
She still runs into doors and walls........even with her hair up....
