I luv Andra and Wayne
Andra and Wayne would have me look after their pets when they travelled during various times of the year. I would write diaries ("what we did on our summer vacation while you were gone" stories) of their pet's adventures when their mean mom and dad left them at home. Complete with cartoon drawings and points of view from their pets. Andra and Wayne gave me a 97 van with heat and those expensive Ice tires after hearing of my trials and tribulations last winter dealing with my 92 van with no heat and bad tires. Wayne has 5 vehicles( he works in the car industry business) and Andra figured I desperately needed a vehicle with heat after arriving at work with blue lips every morning as not only did I have to scrape the outside windows but the inside ones as well. The frost would drift gently down onto me and leave me damp but alas no heat and I would arrive each morning at work resembling an icicle with blue lips. The only stipulation was to use the van for the animals I help. I kept my word as having a reliable vehicle allowed me to travel further without fear of it breaking down. Thus, I helped the bunnies at the bunny shelter, travelling 50 miles 3 times a week in the summers, once a week in the winter, was able to pick up one eyed Mickey in the US and of course haul all those 15 kitties that had URI from the shelter in October. Plus always have my van loaded up with crates, leashes and other paraphenlia to help stray and injured animals if I find them. I luv my van!!!! Then yesterday they outdid themselves! Earlier in the morning I had helped out with monthly health checks of the 50 spayed and neutered bunnies at the rabbit shelter. I had 45 dollars in my wallet but shared 1/2 of it by donating it to the bunnies food. Leaving the shelter I stopped at my friends housewarming party as she just bought her first home. She invited a huge crowd. Imagine my delight when she opens up her garage and shows me mounds of pet food! She asked for guest not to bring a gift but rather petfood for the animals I help!!!!!! Bags and bags of food for cats, dogs, bunnies and guinea pigs! I love Andra and Wayne, they're the best! Marianne |

They sound like great friends. It is so nice to have friends who love the animals too!!  You and they and the homeless animals are all lucky. |
