The waiting game for baby J

.........is driving me nuts. I'm in so much pain in my pelvic area and rolling out of better has turned into a complete workout.

I'm sooooooooooooooo nervous. Today I visited labor and delivery b/c my face got really bloated combined with some other issues and I'm excited that that I went from 1.5 cm dilated and 50% effaced to 3 cm dilated today at 35 wks (WOOHOO!!!!!)

....but Dr says I can sit at this place until 40 wks, so it could mean nothing. 4 cm dilated, for those who aren't familiar is labor.

I keep looking at my present son blessed at our healthy miracle and can't believe he's going to have a little brother soon. I can't believe how different our lives will be with 2 in just a few weeks. Baby J loves to make his appearance known by those creepy looking shoot out of your belly movements, so while at the store.... I start playing alien when my shirt starts actively moving up and down like a tidal wave.

Mr. J is guessing he will make his appearance on or BEFORE the 15th of Jan.

I'm a firm believer that they just come AFTER whenever you have your first. Seems to be almost completely true whenever I ask on baby boards (more than 40 replies said a day or weeks later after their first child). Soooooooooo...... I'm guessing some time on or after the 18th of Jan.

Having had 3 children and reading your post brings back memories....

My son, Nick was born on Jan. 5th (1977) (he was my second too)...

I remember after Christmas being so anxious and excited...

What a wonderful time for you and your family!!!!!

Good luck!!!!
:ghug: :hearts:
This is SO exciting!! I don't have any children .. yet :lmt: we have not decided if we will have any, neither of us feel ready.
But I get sooo excited when I see moms with their babies or lovely big tummies :D there is something almost holy about a newborn in a moms arms, it's like wonderful magic is happening right there!
You must be so excited :excited:

What is the due date (sorry I know I've asked that before) my money is on hmm... the 16th- EARLY in the morning like 1.00 AM LOL how accurate.

So sorry to hear you are in pain it must be very uncomfortable :? HUUUUGS!!
...not until Feb 1

...but we like to stay hopeful
Hmmmm, Baby 1 born at 39 wks, 2 days. Baby 2 born at 37 wks, 4 days. Baby 3 born at 36 wks, 5 days.

I'm always the odd one out. Point being - it's not a hard and fast rule. :)

I hate those last few weeks...they're so miserable. I feel for you. I hope you don't have much more to wait! May you have a quick and easy delivery - and soon!
Ahhh Feb is the best month to be born in 8)

Gosh.. here's hoping you don't have to wait that long!! What are you doing to make yourself as comfy as possible?
Make myself comfy? Oh goodness, it's quite the opposite...

To my husband:
Honey, let me carry lil j
...let's go out for a walk!
...finds every excuse to go up and down the stairs
...can i get some pineapple or something spicy to eat? Last night I made some hawaiin meatballs and loaded up on extra spices and the pineapple!

I haven't gone the extra length to take red raspberry leaf tea or anything, but ONLY b/c this time around I get so sick any time I drink it.

Of course there's only 1 proven method (rest doing nothing according to lots of experts but you get desperate at this point) to help things move along, and well.... I attempt to look sexy for Mr. J every night. 8)

If that fails...
Hot bath & hot curry?
With my first, I tried absolutely everything - even busted out the shocks in my Jeep Cherokee driving as rough as I could, hitting every rock and hole on a 4WD road over and over....nothing works. They come when they're ready. They're sooooo uncooperative.
The William Tell Overture with real canon!

January 18th would be very cool. Capricorns are:
Great Leaders Like Richard Nixon
Great Athletes like Muhammad Ali 8O
Great Actors like Kevin Costner 8)
Great webmasters like... :?
Short of an induced coma, I don't think there's anything to get you through this comfortably. I was holding out for Feb. 2 but it would be far too uncomfortable for you.
Funny Ron because I had looked at the calendar a few weeks ago and wondered if he'd make his appearance on your day.

My MIL would like him to be born closer to Mr. J's birthday which would make him 6 days overdue ............and the thought of waiting that long makes me very upset. I have two friends who had their kids the same time I had my son, and they are now heading on 40 wks and no baby. Grrrrrr...

I'd love a Capricorn. I've also read MANY times they are natural born leaders and make good presidents ...also outdoorsy, but of course Mr. J is partial to Aquarius'.
Oooh getting close....I know how uncomfortable you are....number 2 was the worst with me as well and she also was born in January(2 weeks early too)....
hoping the little bean makes an appearance soon.
Hugs
The 18th just happens to be right on the cusp of Capricorn/Aquarius... I sometimes call myself a Capricornicus... A girl might be a Capricorius. :D
im going with january 22!!
From my limited knowledge of labor and delivery (not my favorite area of nursing) I'd say the "looking sexy" angle is your best bet
I LOVE prego people and babies! Good luck to you!

Ps. Your christmas card was Fabulous! I cut it out and added it to my doggie decor bathroom. It's now in a cute 3.5 x 3.5 in frame that I couldn't find anything to fit into! Your pix is PERFECT! :)
Mrs J, I know those last couple of weeks suck BIG TIME!! :(

I tried every stupid idea there was to try to put myself in labor with Ryan.
One idea I read was take a bumpy car ride. I owned a jeep at the time, so I did that.... nothing. Castor Oil, didn't work either.
I was even told to run up and down the steps. Nothing worked. I was still pregnant and extremely uncomfortable.

With Ryan, I went into my final Dr's appt and I was 3 cm dilated at 38 1/2 weeks. My Dr said I could go at any time...or the full 40.
She joked around and said, I'm on call tonight, if you want to have the baby.

Well at 8:45pm that evening she got a phone call from me. Her first question was "Are you serious?" I said, "Oh yeah, my water just broke as I was carrying the laundry upstairs."
She told me to come on down. I lived 45 minutes away from the Hospital.
@ 6:03 the following morning Ryan was born. :D
Jan 8th thats my birthday so feel free to have the baby :D then. I remember with my daughter, and I went for a check up, last one doc says 3 weeks or so baby has not even dropped ...... 3 DAYS I had her. So you just never know.
Oh, you poor thing, Jo! Here's hoping baby J comes soon!

With my kids - Spencer was born at 42 weeks (and I had to be induced even then cause the little bugger was just too comfy inside mom!), and Sarah was born at 36.5 weeks (to this day she's still in a hurry to do anything!) - so go figure!!

Hang in there, kiddo! It will all be over soon and you'll have your precious little baby J in your arms! :ghug:
Quote:

That's what I keep trying to tell myself!!! I get up so many times a night to eat and just stare at the wall, so I have time to remember how awful labor was last time. ...........but like any mom, I'd do it 100 times more to get my little one :)

In fact, it's 3:40 a.m. my time, and I'm going to shower in a second b/c I just can never sleep past 4 a.m.!!

Pepsi's Mommy, your story is a lot like what happened with lil j. I was told to go to labor and delivery though b/c he was probably coming. The "experts" there said my nurse was crazy and I'm no where near close. I had my son the next night several weeks ahead of schedule.

Mr. J has his mom convinced I'll probably go in the next 2 wks. She keeps trying to change her ticket to come up here. Geez.... when did people start listening to the fathers instead of the actual preggers chick. ;) It would be WONDERFUL if his intuition was right, but...... I'm just not lucky and really think it will happen towards the last 2 wks of Jan.

I keep pulling out baby clothes and smiling... they're so tiny!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...and don't get me started on newborn diapers :hearts:
My mom was 4 weeks overdue with my sister and that was in July. To this day, I don't know why she likes my sister so much!!!
But, the day before she went into labor, we took a walk down to the ice cream parlor and had banana splits. Everyone blamed the banana split, maybe give that a try. Although, since it's Alaska and winter, maybe you need the opposite?
My son was 2 weeks late (don't panic! I think my doc misjudged my due date). I was soooooooooooooo sick of being pregger and having to eat little tiny bland meals. So, I had a HUGE, GARLICY spagetti dinner (and said f-it to myself). Sure enough, I went into labor that night, and burped garlic through the whole delivery!

Baby J will show up when he is good an ready...and (sigh) nothing anyone can do to rush him.

Hey! Feb. 8th would be a very cool day to have a baby!!! 8)
Mine wasn't spaghetti, but pizza - both times! At least I didn't burp garlic.

Trust me, by the end you will!!! :D
casearoo wrote:
YOU"RE SCARING ME!!! I may never want this kid to come out.

lol I agree with the above statement.. Trust me, you will do ANYTHING to get the sucker out. You should try jumping up and down when you've got something pressing on you so low. I tell my husband getting punched in the junk is nothing compared to this. lol

The POSITIVE is.... not everyone has the same pains, and with my first... I only had 2 days of this sort of pressure before my little one came. This time, it came early second trimester, but now...you can feel the baby's head hanging low (pelvic exam).

The great news is... it's all worth it and just thinking about seeing their beautiful face relieves some stress :)
TMI BELOW about stages before pregnancy:

I lost my mucus plug 2 wks ago; however, tonight I lost more (actual "bloody show" which I didn't have my 1st time around). :yay: :yay:

Another step closer!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's lower too. Not positive if he's engaged (head locked into position) because just the other day you could bounce his head which I may have mentioned earlier, but he may be now.

My next appt is Thurs. Can't wait!
Woo hoo!! One step closer. 8)
>>My next appt is Thurs. Can't wait!<<

Hmmmm....if you have bloody show already...you probably won't wait til Thursday!
THE FORUM IS GONNA HAVE A BABY SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!

:clappurple:
Well, I don't want the baby so soon anymore. Mr J is "nesting" himself and ever since he got the "she's going to blow soon" vibe... he's been doing that honey-do list he's put off :yay:

The house is being painted right now... Woohoo!!!

That or he's making up for accidentally getting my brand new odyssey into a wreck with the garage door handle (car is bordering a tad too long for garage). Not sure... afraid to go outside to look at it and thankfully he's going to get it fixed tomorrow. He's thinking >$500 :( I forgive him, but mostly because I was scared to death IIIIIIIii would be the first one to mess up my new car.

Besides, everything I've read says it can be 2 wks before you go when you lose your plug. My family seems to think things will go JUST like it did last time for me.
think of it this way......he was the one to ''break'' in the car!! so much better...now if you ding it, you can always say....but you did it first

just keep your legs crossed till the 22nd....its the best day to deliver/be born......and dont forget to point out the spots that he missed
I think the 28th is a good day.... but probably too long of a wait huh?
Our 31st Anniversary is January 30th. We would LOVE to have Lil 'J #2 born then. Too long to wait I suppose???
Todd's birthday is.........

:D

:D

this Friday, Jan. 4th!
That would be a nice day for the baby J to be born. :D
Our anniversary is the 27th...18 years. I wouldn't want you to wait that long either. :excited:

January 10th--- 4:46 p.m. 8) :D (Wanted to be exact)
Good Luck Mrs. J.

Capricorns are notoriously hard workers.

And well.....Aquarian's are great! :yay:
You can't go wrong with either!
I'm going for Jan 13 b/c 13 is my lucky number...
If Jan 12th is open I'm snagging it :D
OK, I'll take the 8th, you know 2008 and all. As for the Odyssey.......horrors! I love my dogmobile and would be very upset with anything more than the road scratches were to occur. But someone will put more than a scratch on it, just a matter of time.....
^^^

Well, I love mine to death. Best vehicle ever for our huge family and so much room, so I AM a little sad (not upset) about the damage. He's coming back from PT this morning to take it to the shop.

I can't believe so many people are like Mr. J and think he'll come before the 15th. I'll let everyone know how my appt goes tomorrow. It's not until late in the day. I'm not feeling any contractions, so I think I've got awhile. I felt several every day and they got worse right before the day last time.
We are hoping before the 15th for your comfort, but my dream would be Groundhog Day, Feb 2nd. Then again Mom will be 91 on the 17th...you could name him Jane in her honor........
Ok...well since the due date is Feb. 4th, I am going with my anniversary. January 27th for me!
I'm sticking with the 18th of January.
I think the baby should come, when it's ready
I'm telling ya all JAN 8th MY BIRTHDAY
If the baby is born on the 18th, are you going to name it Ron?
Sticking with J's is could be Jon-Ron
Cankles anyone??????????

This was me today ...two different times. Nurse said it wasn't toxemia b/c I show no other signs and my blood pressure is excellent, so it's just ranks as another reason why I want this all to end. I literally was a balloon today from my toes to my upper calves.

I guess Ron jinxed me when he said I needed to gain more weight :(

Note: I normally can fit my hand [fingertips] around my ankles (shameful bird legs).

Oh I feel for you. I didn't have swelling until my third child and I had NO IDEA that swelling could hurt! Bless you - it's going to be over soon!
Oh wow!

Stop eating SALT!!!!

It might not help , but it couldn't hurt.
I have this vague definition of pre-eclampsia (sp?)... doesn't it involve water retention and/or congestive ehart failure or some such? Not to you know, worry you as I'm sure the nurse and/or doctor are very familiar with it, but just for my own curiosity.

I would have gone all 911 if suddenly my preggers wife puffed up like that overnight.
I had plenty of ankle swelling during the ends of my pregnancies, but mine were all late summer babies, so it was more understandable. No pre-eclamsia, though, but they watched. That's a lot of fluid though for over night. If they checked all of your levels and your bp, it sounds fine, but don't be afraid to call or go in.

The end is always so uncomfortable. A woman I work with is due in 10 days--it's her first and she is soooooo ready to be finished. I remember the feeling well.

Rest when you can. I know that's not so easy right now.
i had swelling and high blood pressure and protiens ( but never all at the same time) with isaac from about 29 ish weeks had i lived in the states theni believe they would not have let me go that as far as they did in the uk

i had isaac at 41 weeks went in for my check and the midwife said i'm surprised that your standing with blood pressure like that!!! so she induced me, (i had only been begging them since 37 weeks) isaac was already in distress and they didn't do a c-sec had an assisted delivery and he was 9lb 7!!! it was so high they gave me an epidural to lower it and they had to give me drugs to lower it before they could get the epidural done it was a sunday!!!

but he was healthy so thats all that matters

just keep and eye on your self and let hubby do everything!!!

hope all goes well

zoe and einy
Ouch puffy

Hang in there not long to go now for the newest Lil J bean to make his grand entrance into the world.

I was going to say keep those legs crossed till the 1st of February, now I hope it will be sooner for you.

Rest up, keep those legs elevated and I hope the swelling settles soon. :ghug:
lisaoes wrote:

So that the baby could share a birthday with your new little ones?!
That would be funny... a puppy and baby announcement on the same day 8)

Ron, when I looked up what you were talking about... it came up as toxemia. Same thing? Either way, I don't have the high blood pressure or the other symptoms for that. .........and despite my friday binges ;) .....I eat green and fruits daily. Overall a pretty healthy gal (no chips or other salty items). My feet are worse though this morning even after sleeping all night, but I have an appt today.

I feel great otherwise ...and no "gut" feeling the baby is coming soon <please be wrong> :plead:
holy cow......that looks like it hurts....ewwww nasty!! keep your legs elevated....

ewwww ewww ewww............ 8O
Ouch! That does look painful. I remember when my sister was carrying Connor, she blew up like a balloon. I've never seen such swelling. 8O Try to stay off your feet (yeah - right!! )
poor J!

Maybe that's why my doctor cringes each time he sees me in heels. He knows what's in my future! But hey--I look like a trucker right now, I might as well have cute feet!
I went from feeling great this morning to throwing up. Called nurse to see if I can get an earlier appt, and they're supposed to call me back.

Barney, it's your turn to post some pics if you're showing at all!!!!!!!!!!! :D
Isn't throwing up a sign of labor coming soon? 8)

I'll post pics when it looks like I'm pregnant and not just visiting the all you can eat buffet everyday... Although it's coming...
Wow Mrs J, those feet looks very painful.
I had some swelling in my feet when I was pregnant with Ryan, but not like that. OUCH!!

Hope all goes well at the Dr and also that you feel better.
Good luck Jo at your appt. I hope they get you in early. Sounds like something is going on.

I bet Mr J is worried about you and the baby.
Joahaeyo wrote:

8O Keep us posted, please.
Good luck Mrs. J. My sister is preggers, due in March, and her ankles are swelling already.

Keep us posted!
Well it was a pretty eventful appt that turned out to be nothing.

swelling to the crazy degree i have = normal
throwing up and bathroom problems = good sign time is getting close

measuring mommies uterus = not normal

i guess my nurse has a system to how she does it, so she knows it's done the same way each time you come in. This makes her measurements a little more accurate. Apparently last time I came in, I was measuring 31 wks, at 32 wks. It's been 4 wks since last measuring, and I was still 31 wks at 36 wks. :!:

She scared the bejeezus out of me with all the bad possibilities. BUT, thankfully after giving me a stress test (strap you in and monitor baby's heartrate), they ordered an ultrasound from radiology.

After waiting several hours, I get a newbie technician so who knows how accurate the measurements are, but he's getting that the baby is measuring 36 wks. Phewwwwwww.... The estimate the summary gave was that baby j is around 6lbs.6oz so already bigger than lil j who I delivered sometime in the next few days (equivalent timing).

I want to hurry up and get this one out b/c I don't want too much bigger! I like 'em tiny 8)

Anyway, he's engaged now (head locked in instead of able to bounce around when touched) and positioned in the widest part/opening of my cervix. Also said I was very very soft and ready at 75% effaced.

Hearing "anytime now" from her ..........I swear was her jinxing me  I'm telling ya... baby j ain't ever coming out!
You poor thing!!!!! You must be relieved that the stress test came out fine. The last few days, weeks and very hard especially with having to run after little J....Good thoughts are being sent............
J--do you think you measured smaller because of all the extracurricular activities you've been doing since Mr J got home? Maybe that somehow made a difference in how she measured you...

I'm glad it's all okay, though. How scary!
Remembering back, I think I did b/c I'm so tall. I don't even show with a little bump until 7 months, and that's because the baby gets hidden well. Mr. J said he remembers them telling me that a lot the first pregnancy.
You're still not sleeping much, Joah?
Joahaeyo wrote:

lol, then I'm in trouble! Not only am I 5'3", apparently I have a REALLY small pelvis. I'll be sticking out 5 feet by the 6th month! 8O
Beaureguard's Mom wrote:

Is it b/c I post at all hours of the day/night?

My current schedule:
I'm waking up at midnight for food, 2 a.m. for at least an hour and then wake up at 4 a.m. for the rest of the day.

There was something on the Today show yesterday that women who don't get enough sleep in the later months of their pregnancy DRASTICALLY delay labor and make labor itself longer.

I want Matt Lauer to try sleeping when he's got a bowling ball attached to him.
Joahaeyo wrote:

I thought he was married.

???
Funny!

Isn't he still married? I don't keep up but I know he WAS having reported trouble with his wife b/c Matt tends to be a flirtatious man [and desirable] ....but he stomped those rumors and said they were fine. That was the last I heard, but always wondered if there was an update on his love life.

We really like him otherwise. He seems to be the most conservative out of the reporters on that show. ....just something Mr. J and I notice when interviewing political leaders and his questions back.
I am glad to hear things are OK. We (LeAnne and I ) were getting worried when you didn't post last night.

I was at their house all evening. We moved a couple dressers from our house over there to get the room ready for adding baby boy. We ended up going through all Breanna's clothes, then toys and rearranging the whole room! A simple dresser drop off ended up being a 4 hour project. 8O

Also, LeAnne had an US yesterday and it is still a boy! He also measured large - 80th percentile. His weight was estimated at over 4 pounds, and her due date isn't until March 13th at the earliest (the other date is the 20th.) 8O
She is getting worried!!
The good news was everything looked normal, and he is in the head down position.

Yes, that's the reason! Bless your heart. It sounds miserable. :( I'm crossing my fingers that Baby J gets here soon. :D
J--I think that Matt Lauer is back to having a good relationship with his wife. At least I know that they've had another kid since it was reported they were having troubles. Hey, I'd flirt with him! 8)

Oh, I know... he's a looker for his age.

got sheep, it's so reassuring to get that second confirmation that the sex is still the same. I SWEAR to goodness Mr. J STILL asks me if i'm sure baby j is a boy. He thinks it's a girl, and I'm playing a joke on him since I told him I would do that originally. I had to buy a "little brother" onesie for him to calm down. 8)

LeAnne has to be getting excited too that her time is around the corner!! I always worry about having a big kid, but maybe they will schedule a c-section for her if the baby keeps growing. Although as they say... they all even out by 1, and I totally think that's true!
Hi Ms J,

Just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you and the little Bean. The last stretch is always the hardest so hang in there as we're all here for you!

Marianne
Hi J,

I'm sorry to hear you are in pain and I hope Baby J is going to come out soon. I suppose it's nice and warm in there. ;)
Okay, had my first contractions at night and lost more mucus plug.

GET THE HECK OUT baby J!!! 8) I want you out before the MIL comes (sun morning - 12th) even though she would make things easier so someone is here to watch big J.

I just don't want to hear her "go lay down... no, let me do that... you can't be doing that..." .....while all good intentions and super nice, I'm WAY TOO independent to have others do things for me. Agitates me more than assists. Guess I like things done a certain way and don't like hearing from someone else that I'm tired ..........................when I'm not as they take things out of my hand and push me into a bedroom. :?

Plus I don't appreciate people feeding my dog and son things I have said NOOOOOOOOOO to 100 times (FIL).
C'mon Lil' J, you can hold out 'til the 18th! You can do it if you try!
Joahaeyo wrote:

As far as your son is concerned that really is a grandparent's job :)
Would be hard to tell right now if it is Braxton-Hicks contraction or the real deal. Popping the plug now means my Ground Hog's day predicition is too long. Hope pre-12th works out.

Relax re: Grandparents.......that's their job, to coddle and spoil the child and drive the parents insane. Parents grow and develop the child, grandparents get to do a little decorating. Kids learn to tell the difference. Husband still speaks fondly of his grandfather's sweet tooth and parents admonition not to feed the children sweets. The visits with grandparents are short. A child needs those memories to carry through life.

If it's a food allergy issue, then that is a life or death situation. If it is Mommy's will power, then you have the rest of the year to counter grandparents' actions. Relax.

Now go have that baby!

that's what we used to tell them on the L&D floor..............

GOOD LUCK
Well you missed my son's birthday of Jan 2nd and Lynda's (Willowbye's mom) as well, so my guess is for Jan 10th!

Hang in there Ms J and if it's any consolation I weigh 100 pounds and stand barely 5 feet and both my kids weighed 7 pounds 7 1/2 ounces. I bragged my baby bump was "baby fat".

I'll be thinking of you and give Lil J a kiss from his auntie M. :D

Marianne
Since there was no big announcement I'm assuming Baby J has not made his big arrival yet so my guess would be January 11th. I had may sons that day.....not a bad days work...two healthy boys (one 7 pounds 2 ounces and the other 6 pounds 8 ounces) and I was only in labour 3 hours.
I hope Baby J makes his grand entrance soon.....here's hoping for a speedy delivery!!!
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...and you're right, no matter how much jumping up and down and walking I do, baby J still hasn't pushed me into labor.

Same height/weight 5' 96-100lbs. first 7lbs 11oz, 2nd 8lbs 12 1/2oz, 3rd 8lbs 6 oz. For each delivery the nursing staff liked to come down and see the little Mommy who had the big babies. lol

Hugs Mrs J everything is going to be ok!
Sure fired way to go into labor? Make plans that would be inhibited by going into labor. But you can't let baby J know that is the plan, or he won't cooperate. It's gotta be a secret. Lol. But seriously, good luck and god bless. I had to be induced. I lost my plug about a month before I went into labor. Oh, and I was at three centimeters dialated for nearly as long. They were really confused by me, lol.
I had c-sections both times. 1st one after nineteen hrs of labor and dialated to 8. It was induced and she managed to have the cord wrapped which only allowed her to bang against the cervix and swell it shut. The second one was scheduled.
The babies and I were fine both times. That is the most important thing. Once you have them in your arms...all is almost forgotten.

Still going for the 27th...my 18th Anniversary. Hang in there!!!
I can only say I hope baby J will come whenever he is ready and that it's going to be shorty so you don't have to do too much jumping up and down and walking.

That is so true! We have a military ball the 8th of Feb, but that doesn't help me much...

I HATE you for telling me that.
Sorry, lol. They thought I was weird, my son never dropped because I carried so low, I was dilated for so long, the plug thing, a couple of other oddities as well. I don't know if you are going natural or drugs or water birth or what, but I LOVED my epidural, lol. GOOD LUCK!!!!
I've been in exactly your position, so I know exactly the appeal of the following suggestion, made by my OB: sex. Orgasm can bring on labor (I hope I haven't violated board rules here. Please feel free to insert euphamisms if necessary, but I think they all sound worse than the actual words, myself). It didn't work for me, but it did for one of my friends.

HAHAHA, That exactly how I felt for the longest time. I just look fat not preggers.

You have to post ASAP barney1. It's your turn.

I hope BabyJ makes his apperance soon. You sound so uncomfortable.
23 days until the 1st of Feb.
6 days until Mr. J loses in his prediction on baby j's arrival
more contractions last night

I've got such a busy day of cleaning today. Yesterday I cleaned the garage a little in hopes that moving all the boxes (don't worry, not too heavy) would shake something up.

Eating yummy coconut shrimp leftovers from last night right now at 4:30 a.m. (and I hate shrimp). 8O
:o OH! You're nesting!!!! All that cleaning means Baby J can't be far away!
LOL - that was my thought too. :D

Keeping busy, without getting overtired, is good too.
Just 9 more days, lil'lil; J.

Hang in there!

I was going to offer Jan 18th (my husbands birthday) as my guess for lil J's arrival. Then I remembered Ron shares that day, so I was OOL.

Since my guess is taken, I hope you have the little guy as soon (and easily) as possible. :D
You could root for BOTH my day and your husband's day :D
1st February still

E-V-I-L

I can barely walk now b/c my legs are like elephant man (further up now), and if I put on socks, blood vessels pop out b/c they're so tight. No significant weight gain though, so nurse says it's normal. It's so disgusting, and I'm pretty sure some of these marks won't ever go away now. I literally can fit into mr. j's shoes now (width wise) which will be handy since I have to go to the store today and not a single one of my slippers fit on my feet.

I have women come up to me now and immediately say "it's so obvious you're having a boy with how low you are..." ...............well if it's so obvious, why not give me some useful info like how high I have to jump to boink this boy out.

I'm almost hitting 4 cm now, and over 75% effaced.

Second babies are so much harder than firsts imo due to all your stretched out parts and expectations that didn't exist before!!!
Oh, you poor thing! Every time I see you post I think "Baby J is here!!!" and nope.

My mom told me she was due on Aug 27th with me (I was born on Sept 1st) and she went shopping on the 30th. She was about to get into a cab when the cab driver asked her when she was due. He freaked out and wouldn't want to take her. It turned out that 2 weeks earlier a woman got into his car going shopping and gave birth in his car. He said he had to take a week off.

I hope Baby J is going to come out soon, you sound so uncomfortable!
I think Mama J has to go shopping in a cab!
Mrs. J....only one more sleep until Baby J makes his grand entrance
Ohhh!!! I can't wait either!!!
Is today the day? What a lovely day to be born!

Um, have you seen her new thread "Still Waiting"? 8)
She started a new thread...she has been on that one.
Rats....
I'll lock this one up now to avoid any confusion. :)
