Just want to introduce ourselves, I am Kveta and my OES is Taimee . Firstly, I very apologize you for my English, secondly I never know what to put in these intros .
Taimee is my second OES, my first was Dalia z Orisku. Dalia was in our darling and loved agility, fresbee and others sports. She was born and lived in Czech Republic and travelled with us to the others EU states. When she was 10,5 years old, her stomach was turned up and our vet had to operated on her. She didn´t wake up from anestesia. She died on 9.12.2006.
Taimee was born on 08.11.2006. In my state is very little OES puppies and we bought her in Austria by Mrs. Elisabeth Antl. She is very clever girl and very loves all sports. We train for agility, fresbee, dog dancing and "water rescue of people" - I don´t know, how is right English word for these activity.
I would like to ask you about agility? I am alone who OES train for agility in Czech Republic . I don´t know why . Others people have yours dogs for show or garder... . Is the same in your state?
This is a great site. Thanks for place that I look forward to every day!

|Thanks for your welcome !!! This time is very hardly for me. Taimee is ill at the moment and death of Dalia .
I don´t know what is herding? Pls send me informations about this sport.
And I would like to know how is the right English word for "water rescue of people" - this activity is typical for newfoundland dogs. I need to know this word because I want to put in new pictures with the right title to the My Photos.
|Hello from not so sunny today Phoenix AZ. WOW so far away you are.|
|Hope Taimee is feeling better soon.
Herding is competition/sport to gain a herding title. What OES originally evolved for as a breed. Lot's of other breeds do it too. You start off taking your dog to a herding Instincts day test. They assess wether the dog has any natural instinct there, if they do then you go onto to train the dog for herding sheep, ducks etc then onto competition level to gain a Herding title.
Here is some OES doing it.
|Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about your first sheepie. But cant wait to hear about your new one. congratulations|
