His passing will never be forgotten! I know it doesn't feel like it, but after a bit of thought about it, I think it is a gift. Nothing is worse than the feeling of remembering an important date like someone's passing == a day late. Now you'll never have to worry about that happening. Time heals all wounds. |

I am glad family could be there. I have had patients die with no family there, and it is so sad. It sounds like he was ready, and died when he was ready. Who could ask for a better way to die than that? I am sorry he died on your birthday. I have noticed that families have many shared dates - for both births and deaths. Of all the days in a year, things seem to happen on the same dates fairly often. I don't know if I would be that happy to have someone die on my birthday, but it is kind of special, in a nice family way. It makes me think of a circle of life. |
