meeting other dogs

I realize that Obe being 16 months he is still very a much puppy. Sometimes I forget and need a reminder. My step dad brought his dog down to the restaurant yesterday. As the official welcome committee (Obe who must greet everyone) sees the other dog. Picture this- front paws drop, chest goes to the ground, up goes the rear just a wiggling LMAO. This always happens when we meet other dogs and he wants to play.
Needless to say the other dog, older, wanted nothing to do with Obe, much less play. Obe soon realizes this and then sits/lays down about 5 feet from her. Inside looking out the window talking to my mother we notice that every 3-5 minutes Obe repeats the process trying his best to get this dog to play. We stood there and just laughed.

I guess this is a sign that Obe may need a brother to play with.

I can just see him - "please play with me". :D
He gets to go to work at a restraunt?? Lucky dog!
My parents own a restaurant and 3 or 4 acres. There are some cabins on the property which is where I am staying. So when the restaurant opens dinner only he has to be put inside or has to be on a leash to go for a walk/bathroom. During the day when I am around he has free roam of the grounds. When we are out at night and customers are coming or going he sits very nice as to get their attention so they will come pet him.
I bet he loves it! Mine would be in heaven with all the attention.
