My latest project, almost done

So one of my projects this fall was making bright yellow hats for the ambulance crew to match our jackets (dayglo yellow for visablity). I finished 14 hats and distributed them, the rest (4 or 5) are going to have to wait til my exams are done. They are different shades of yellow because I wanted to use 100% wool yarn, which is really expensive and bought it bit by bit on ebay. You can see the matching jackets hanging in the background.

ROFLMBO....

Hey Ginny... My mother used to knit hats, but they never quite came out the same size. That's what the pic in the chair reminded me of. Also the fact that some would be so tight that your ears would ring, and others would make good shoulder warmers. LOL

Gotta love it!

Very nice thing for you to do. :hearts:
Well, actually.... I did make them head specific to a certain extent. Each hat was made for an individual and used a different number of stitiches depending on the yarn and the head size. I've gotten pretty good at the size thing.
