Would anyone else like to share stories about lost and found animals? Is it a crime not to put a collar on an indoor dog? What if the dog just had a bath and is going potty and the gate came loose because someone forgot to put the rock back against a gate that is about to be fixed? I promised to put a microchip on our lost dog if we ever get him back. I think the "find it keep it law" concept on animals should be changed. It should be changed to absolutely "find it report it". Afterall domesticated animals are considered ownership and not an object i.e. registration, papers, etc...
