Carrot stealer!

I sometimes feed Barney carrots. He loves them.

I was having lunch yesterday and I had carrot sticks. I had eaten all but one and was sitting on the couch with my plate on the coffee table in front of me. Barney was sitting between me and the table. He never eats people's food--he'll sniff around a lot, and air lick, but he's never gone so far as touching the food (still can be annoying!).

I hear him sniffing more than usual. Look over and carrot's gone. Barney had just slid down to the ground. I see orange. Barney stole my carrot! I took it from him and then a few minutes later called him over to the kitchen so he could eat it over there. Boy, does he love carrots!

ha! Barney the carrot nabber......id have done the same thing...once its gone, take it to pandas bowl....does barney like apples?
I had no idea Zeke was such a freak for apples until
he stole one last night when I was cleaning out the
fridge. He actually grabbed it and ran.
He scarfed it core, seeds and all. I felt bad for
Tucker, he just sat there with this look on his face, like
hey! why didn't I get any. So of course I had to core one
for him. Who would have guessed- they both love apples.
I know the seeds aren't great for them, but we haven't had
any problems yet today!

My "kids" love carrots, apples and raw green beans.

When I snapping green beans, Pirate stand almost on my toes, so I don't forget to give him some!

I have baby carrots everyday for my morning snack at work, and when I bagging them up...there's Pirate again!

Little beggar!
Both my girls eat both fruits and vegs. When making a salad, we have to split the left overs with both the Guinea Pigs and the dogs. Never would have thought that dogs eat these. :D
panda only likes apples....she will try to eat a carrot, then decide after chewing it for a while that she really doesnt like them after all.....
hmmm, I've never thought to give him apples. I've only tried bananas and carrots...I'll have to give it a try!
Summer is starting to like carrots, but not as much as my yorkie. When my yorkie was a puppy I was on a diet so I used to eat loads of carrot sticks! She would rather have carrot than anything else. In the morning when dogs have been fed I feed the guinea pigs and what do they have? Yep, carrots! Yorkie stands in front of their cage and barks until I cut up a carrot and feed the g. pigs and then the dogs have some. Tilly has to have 2 bits or she barks. If you only give her 1 she knows!
Both China and Violet will eat any fruit or vegtable that they see me eating. They do like their carrots dipped in ranch dressing alot. lol
Daisy loved tomatoes  . When she was up north in the summer she would steal a few each day from the basket on the porch :)
This summer Sami in her insane mode ran up to snatch my potato off my plate 8O then I was glad it was not my steak.
My crew love carrots! :D
Barney knows what is good for him, thats what happens if an OES really likes something they do not steal it. they do a "David Copperfield" and it just seems to vanish. Carrots are supposed to help your night sight: or have you ever seen a rabbit wearing glasses?

Hugs from all at Tikki-ti-boo :ghug:
Last night I made acorn squash. After it was cooked I scooped out the "inners" and tossed the skin in the garbage.

I left the kitchen for a couple minutes, and when I came back, it looked like Keira was eating a frog! It turned out, she swiped the squash skin from the garbage and was really enjoying it!
Monday

Staff meeting with the Chief Bunny. Raffle to decide the locations, bad luck. Drew property with a Dog. Owner Mr Shepherd dog called "Bob Tail" wierd name. Spent the rest of the day piting myself. Life is rotten!!! Thought about suicide.

Tuesday

Tried to get myself together. Pretended life isn't bad, things could be worse, (might have been property with a Tiger.)

Posed in front of a mirror trying to look like a Ninja Bunny.

Ridiculous. Doped myself with parsley tried to relax by meditation, didn't help. Treated myself to imported fresh carrots. Felt like it was my last meal. Wondered who would come to my funeral.

Wednesday

Mrs Hen called, eggs will be delivered tomorrow. Reminded of my misery, planned to to make it difficult as possible for Old English. Bought karate videos. Spent the rest of the day watching the videos and copying the scenes. Wasn't hungry in the evening just took some vitamin pills. Went to bed with aching muscles.

Thursday

Slept with constant nightmares. Read Freud's "How to Interpret Dreams" felt even worse afterwards. (Never realised just how many problems I had, Old English is just one of them.) Eggs were delivered. Long discussion with delivery driver over occupational hazards and life insurance. Didn't understand me. He opti , me pessi, my future more than mystic. Shaky paws, didn't paint a single egg.

Bought a bottle of whiskey. Slept like a log.

Friday

Hangover. Whiskers hurt. Remembered my Grandpaw's motto "Seize every opportunity!" (but how do I seize Old English?.) Sneaked into the Shepherd property. Looked determined but felt queasy, wobblely knees. Nobody at home, lovely garden, delicious tulips. Undaunted I tried one. Strange craters in garden, all empty. Painted eggs in the evening. Did a bad job, botched up a few. Who cares? Complaints will never reach me anyway.

Saturday

On the phone all morning, said goodbye to all my friends. Went to visit my brother, gave him my salad bowl. Made my last will. Watered the flowers. Went to the Shepherds once again. They were at home but not Old English. Strange animal in garden. Decided to retreat and go home. Looked up animal in encyclopaedia, it is called a "sheep". Harmless herbivorous. Poor picture in the book, animal much nicer in reality.

A sheep at the Shepherds! Typical human humour. Looked through all my old family photo’s and ate all afternoon. Emptied whiskey bottle. Reviewed my life: conclusion it wasn't too bad, at least I won't end up in a pot with dumplings.

Sunday

Got up early for my last good deed. Didn’t bother to wash or shave. Old English will have to pick my hairs from between his teeth. Grabbed eggs and set off. The Shepherds still asleep, only sheep in garden. Started hiding eggs, sheep came to sniff them, lovely big black nose but doesn’t move like mine. Got angry sheep embarressed. Followed me on my rounds and showed me great places to hide eggs. Fell in crater, rescued from sheep and cleaned me with his tongue. I love this sheep. Helped me with hiding remaining eggs. Job done!!! Still no dog in sight. Said thanks to sheep, he was happy and wiggled his bottom, I nearly died laughing. Really satisfying, teamwork with sheep.

In the evening had big party with my brother and friends. Got my salad bowl back.

Monday

Got up early. Started building a larger home. Going to get a sheep
Ha ha ha. That was hilarious.
