substance to put on foot pads to stop slipping

I am looking for the sticky stuff to put on foot pads to stop slipping feet. Nigel runs like Scooby-doo on my laminate floor. I don't want him to get hurt so...anyone heard of this stuff???

Wendy--

just a thought...

do you clip the hair between his toes????

When Heart starts slipping on our wood floors..I know its time to clip..

Actually, when we go to our self dog wash, the owner actually uses the clippers and that really does a great job to get all that hair --

after a good pawpad clipping, when she runs, it sounds like suction cupson the floors--whamp!! whamp!!
You can get paw wax or mushers wax from JB Wholesale. Petsmart used to carry something as well, maybe they still do.
Yes...he goes to the groomers today, so I will remind her. He jusy gets the puppy zoomies and chases the cats. He can tear through the house and his brakes just suck. I put rugs everywhere I could and the bedrooms are carpeted. I will look for some of that mushers wax too.

He is soo cute even when out of control. As soon as I can figure out we will post some videos.

thanks
Clipping the hair between the pads of the feet is a great help. Be sure that you have someone help you with this process if you haven't ever done it because most dogs can't stand contact with the hair between the pads. One person will hold the dog's let while the other trims it. Be careful, your baby might kick like a mule!

I just use small clippers and I shear it right off.
I clip the hair between the pads then I put some of my body moisturizing lotion once or twice a week on the pads. It does the trick and doesn't cost too much.
An old trick out of the show scene: when we have to show on a slippy floor we use cola, just dab it on their feet let it dry for a few seconds and thats it. 8) Although please try and control your OES on slippy floors as they can injure themselves badly.

Hugs from Misty & Hamish. :ghug:
I did order some mushers wax and he has been clipped between his toes. If he didn't have to chase the cats all the time, it would slow him down. He thinks it is his job however.
