Missing Sheepdog

My sheepdog has been lost/missing for 2 nights. This will be the third. I already miss him and am worried. Does people usually keep an incredible sheepdog when they find it or turn it in to the pound? (Just want to hear some thoughts, comments, and prayers.)

I am very sorry that you are going to through such a terrible ordeal. Lets see here, yes, I would call the pound, and maybe even the police and taxi service to keep an eye out for him. Put up fliers everywhere around your area. Offer an reward, that will peak attention and hopefully if anyone finds him will prompt to bring him back. Where are you located, we have quite a few members from all over the place. Some good thought though we have had 2 members here lose a sheepie and they came back safe and sound. You and your sheepie are in my families prayers. I hope he is home soon with you safe and sound.
Please keep us updated, best wishes! Stormi and co.
Thank you!
We'll keep praying and posting the flyers.

(Best Wishes)
I really hope you find your dog. Was it out in a yard or did it take off etc? Do you think it may have been stolen? Is it male or female?
I would do as stormi said, call everyone, police, vets, pounds, taxi companies, post flyers, call your local pet food stores too, if someone has taken it in they may have said something as a pet supply store while picking up food etc.
Good luck!
Also. where are you located, in case some members here are nearby and can help you look?
anon you never said where you are from!! Boy or girl!! This lovley sheepie was found in MO on 10/16. Check it out. it maybe her.

Can I post a picture of Buddy here? I also post a message in the "Dogs in Trouble" section.

Buddy was missing on Thursday night around 8:00pm 10/14/2004 in Texas. Someone said that they spotted a big black Old English Sheepdog in a gray station wagon (1980's model) with all of its windows rolled down. The dog was standing and took all the space in the back seat. She was sure it was an Old English Sheepdog. She looked at the picture of Buddy and says she's pretty sure there was some white. But the most she remembered was that it was a big black Old English Sheepdog in a gray station wagon. I hope it's not Buddy or if it is, that he'll be turned in to a local shelter.
Buddy is a extra large, 95 lbs, male, neutered Black and White Old English Sheepdog.
