Forever Home Needed

We just sold our property and moved into our travel home.

We have a 6 month old female that we must sell. It is not fair to have her in such a small home as we all know they need room and room to run. Her name is Sadie and she is up-to-date with all of her shots, she is great with kids and other animals. Sadie is also house broken and crate trained.

We are looking for a forever home for Sadie, if you or anyone you know is looking for that adorable sheep dog, please let us know. We are asking $750 (we paid $1,000). We will be more than happy to email pictures to anyone that is interested.

i live on 4 acers in cocoa fl.. but i don't have that kind of money but whoever you find a home for her make sure they know about oes's and really check them out..
You first post said 9 months old... and dogs don't do most of their running inside the house, they do it outside. Our dog stays in whatever room we're in, and when we were in our tiny motorhome, our dog travelled with us just fine.

We're not a sheepdog marketplace here. If you'd like to turn your dog over to a rescue, who will find a more suitable home this time around, we can help with that.
I am new to this forum and did not mean to step on any toes, Ron. I did go back and look at both of my posts though and they both did say 6 months.

Again, my appolgies

Oooop's I did not realize that was from the original post....my bad

Sorry about that....but she is 6 months old.
Sandy, I'm sorry you have to give up your Sadie.

I understand that you feel you have money invested in her. But please consider turning Sadie over to an OES rescue. They will do their best (and they work hard) to find her an appropriate forever home with people who understand sheepdogs. You may not recover your money but you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that your dog went to a good home and isn't stuck in a shelter in a cage awaiting heaven only knows.
One of the things about good OES rescues is that they have a contract with the new owner that requires the dog to be returned to them if the adoption doesn't work for ANY reason. It's a safety for the dog to prevent him/her from being dumped at a shelter, pound or from being resold to someone you would not approve of.
Thanks for the replys and advice. We actually have a friend that has a friend who has 2 oes now and had a third that past away about a year ago that is looking for another female.

After having a long discussion with my husband last night we decided everyone is right, it is not about the money but a good home with someone that knows oes's. We are waiting to hear from them to see when they would like to introduce the three of them together to see if there is a match.

Will keep everyone posted and thanks again.
Sandy, I hope your friend decides she needs 3 sheepies. That way you'll know Sadie is in a loving home and you will be able to keep tabs on her and visit. And if your friend decides she doesn't need 3 sheepies (that would be so wrong!) please continue to think about putting Sadie with an OES rescue.
hi did you find a home for your OES?
