Ok...I'm screwed (Christmas/Channukah gift)

I told all of you how clever I was that I was cutting back, and that I had finish my shopping.

Today, Tony and I went shopping. I had to get get a new winter jacket and boots, and he had a need for Tommy Bahama anything.

As we wandered past the jewelry section, we glanced at watches. Next thing I know, he is buying me a Tag Heuer Diamond/stainless steel/ 18K watch for Chanukkah/Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AACCCHHHTTTTTTT! Did I mention, I bought him the first season of X-Files ???????????????

Don't get me wrong, I love (let me repete LOVE) the watch! But I feel like schmo! Yes, he makes more than me, but the watch compared to 40 bucks of DVDs...not in balance AT ALL!

I don't know what to do! I just bought us tickets to St. Louis for Christmas, but his gift is so huge!

He is such a wonderful man. If he had bought a 19.95 Timex, he still would have been the most wonderful man for ME.

How to recipricate???

Ah but he has the best gift......you :yay:
It's the thought not the price so relax :D
If you're really feeling guilty, send the watch to me and I'll exchange it for the Timex for you. ;)

Ah....

NOT ON A BET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Give him the best present of your time....1 hour of time for just the two of you, 1 hour of his choice of tv watching....1 hour of just....just fill in the blank! Have fun!
Dear Guest...

That's a cool idea! I can print up coupons, for one hour of ________ and
one hour of____________ , etc, and he can fill them in!

Very clever!

(Oh Lord, I hope housekeeping isn't involved!)

Thanks!
Make sure you include an expiration date!

I gave Joan some coupons 20 years ago that haven't been redeemed, and I dread the thought of some of them being cashed in. 8O
If vacuuming comes up, just tell him you're going to trade him for the dyson animal!!!
Wow, what a great gift he got you! Just enjoy it! :D I'm sure your happiness from getting a beautiful watch makes it worth it for him. :hearts: And I really doubt that he is expecting your gifts to match his price wise. Some years you might give a big gift, and some years he'll give a big gift. It doesn't always have to be even! Just have a happy holiday season. (I loooove this season!)
It's not a competition. Just enjoy your gift. :D

I'm willing to bet that Tony's a little more imaginative than housekeeping!
