Hannah is Huggalicious!

My Hannah, is so completely huggable and she has her own special scent. Do dogs have pheromones? She has the most "comforting" scent. She is just the best.

Funny because Hubby had wanted a big dog to hug and I had been pushing for a more medium sized cockapoo. This was years ago pre-sheepie. Now I can't even imagine not having a "big dog to hug". Or should I say Huge Huggalicious dog. Here's to you Huggable Hannah! You are so loved!

What a sweet post ! I know exactly what you mean they are the most huggable dogs I have every had ......

Now speaking of that ,I got to go get some sheepie hugs from my boys.

Antoinette
They are just snuggle-bunnies---------I LOVE it
I can't agree more. Carmella LOVES her hugs......Andy on the other hand....he likes his space.
I don't think that sheepies are the only ones that like hugs, But I do think that to really give a good doggy hug you need a big doggy. :ghug:
When I first started to read up on sheepies I recall reading somewhere (probably here!) how the best part of the rainy day for a sheepie is getting towel dried down when they come in.

At that time I couldn't imagine a dog enjoying a rub-down like that. My prior dogs hated it.

But Bosley and Dixie both fight over who gets rubbed down first! And don't always want to stop...

They sure do like thier hugs and cuddles and rubs!
8) The one thing I love about big dogs is they are alot to put your arms around to hug. Violet loves to be hugged and so does China, even though she is not a sheepie, China is one of the most affectionate dogs.

Hugs to Hannah! :ghug:
Awww....sweet huggable Hannah!! :hearts:

Unless you hug the stuffing out of them - we used to sing the "squeezed in the middle" song from the cookie comercial to Mopsy and then squeeze her and she would growl. It became a game of course, as all things did with her and so if you just looked at her and said the word "hug" she would growl. On the other hand if you said "come give me a hug" she would willingingly come over for a nice warm hug. I loved the way she would play along with the nonsense and knew it was all a game. I still miss it. :(
Of course Hannah is hugalicious!!!! With that adorable face there's no doubt she wouldn't be!! I'd hug her too! Merlin, Panda and Blue just would want kisses.

Marianne

PS I'm jealous your sheepie smells nice ...mine always smell like dirt. :D
this is so true..... If I am on the couch and she wants the hugs, no matter who is beside she will climb up the back of the couch and crawl until she gets behind me and puts her head on my shoulder. NOW if my daughter is sitting bside me, Sami just sits on the couch and breaths /pants at her (SHE HATES) "god your dog in annoying" and moves and Sami takes her spot. I may be having the worst day and our oes's make up for it in 5 minutes.
I laughed at the "god your dog is so annoying" from your daughter - ours do that to my son and we get the same response!

Chewie loves hugging and towel rubs. :hearts:
Bob the Wonder Pony does not like hugs which makes me sad. But when Abbey the Pyr therapy dog is at the hospital, I sit on the floor and hug her all I want! And she never wants you to stop.

Is that why Bob is a Wonder Pony and not a Therapy Pony? :D
Awwww, Hannah!

Huggalicious dogs are the BEST! :D
I know what you mean about the scent. Pepsi reminds me of my teddy bear I had as a kid (okay still have him). I love his normal non-dirty smell and having huggable dogs.
Sending a big :ghug: to your huggalicious Hannah
