I didn't eat any Halloween candy yesterday!

This is how my day went:

8O .................................. :lmt: ............................ :twitch: ................................ :go:

Halloween candy .......... mmm, candy .......... must have candy ............. No, I can do it!

I did it! :yay:

This was a big deal because I am used to spending Halloween on a sugar buzz. But I was determined. It wasn't easy because yesterday my boss brought in a large bowl of candy first think in the morning. I looked at it all day but I didn't cave. I did have my one piece of dark chocolate that I have two or three times a week but that came out of the snack drawer.

That is absolutely amazing!! Good job!

You have way more will power than me! When we were running out of candy last night, Jason started dipping into my private stash and putting it in the candy bowl. Right in front of 2 trick-or-treaters I yelled, "Hey, that's mine!!"  Congratulations on such an amazing feat.

Steph, amazingly none! But I did interoffice some more candy to another branch just so it wouldn't tempt me. Of course I got dirty looks from co-workers but I figured I would have eaten what I shipped so they wouldn't get it anyway.

I think your menu sounds lovely :D
I didn't have any Halloween candy either. I decided that for the month of November, I would have no cookies, candy, cake or pie. 8O

What??? No pumpkin or pecan pie :twitch:

I get twitchy just thinking about it!!!
:twitch: :twitch: :twitch:

I agree! I couldn't handle no pumpkin pie!
I can deal with no pumpkin pie. It's just going to be my mom and me for Thanksgiving so I doubt we'll have pie anyway.
Pumpkin pie is my weakness. My birthday is always right around Thanksgiving (and on it this year :D ) and I always request birthday pumpkin pie instead of birthday cake. It is soooo much better than cake. :D
You guys are so good! I, however, have sampled a wee bit of candy.

In fact, over the last 2 weeks, I've gained 2 pounds!!!

So, I'm back to tracking!
With all the stress right now-- I have been BAD. (normal excuse right?) Has anyone discovered the Cherry Cordial Kisses??? I am in love with this candy. And the scales are up three pounds as proof :( 8O
I did not eat ANY Halloween candy. I have lost a lot of weight(silver lining) since my shingles started back in April and could not, with a clear conscience, pop any candy into my mouth. Luckily we had a big turn out of Trick or Treaters and the one bag that was left, I had Chuck take to work with him. :D

On ward and down ward (in poundage I mean )
Apparently Halloween candy can be a problem for a lot of people. Here is Craig Wilson's column from USA Today. I always get a kick out of his commentary.
