Burping?

After my OES eats he seems to burp a lot. He is about a year old. I have taken every measure I can think of as far as preventing bloat. (his food dish is elevated, he does not eat or drink when overly excited, and eats several times a day)

I feed him Nutro Natural Choice (large breed puppy) Should I be concerned about this belching?

Heart burps when she eats quickly and all at once. I try to distract her a couple times and it seems to help. Please review prior posts on raising the dishes to prevent bloat. Now the opinion is it may do more harm than good.
George belches quite often, usually while looking straight at me. I feel lucky when it comes out of that end, as the other end is quite audible as well.... 8O
The gas build up could be due to the food your dog is eating, the speed at which he eats (how much air he takes in), or could just be him.

I also have a gassy puppy - comes out both ends interchangeably, just like George. Doesn't matter if he's been eating or not.

I wouldn't worry too much about a little belching.
There has been recent discussion on this forum about elevated food dishes and that they can actually increase the risk of bloat.

Try feeding your sheepie on the floor, and if you think s/he is eating too fast, add an object into the food bowl that s/he has to eat around.

Welcome!
I feed yours on the floor and they lay there eating taking their sweet time. I have no problems.
Barney burps a lot, from both ends...
Hehe, we know Rufus has finished his food when he lets out a very loud burp. It's embarrassing but at least we can warn people exactly when it will happen :D
Oliver burps too. He usually gets done eating, then comes in to say hi. Right when he gets to my face, he lets it go. Thanks Oliver, mommy loves the smell of dog food!
Dodger has just started burping after he eats. And speaking of the other end... that doesn't happen until right before he is ready to settle in for the night. He gets relaxed, and then... well, you get the picture.
 Well, my boys come to us to the sofa after dinner, look into our eyes as if they were saying thank you for dinner and then jump up next to us, put their front paws on the back of the sofa, look out the window, stretch and then fart.

Oh, and then they leave!
Sadie lays and eats with the bowl between her feet and that has helped the belching a lot. Hardly ever does it anymore.

As for the gassy other end, our vet recommended the people product for the same thing called Beano. I buy the generic and have to give it only occasionaly anymore. Just a little peanut butter smeared on it and she takes it easily.

Hope this helps.
Bingley will randomly burp in the middle of playing. He'll stop what he's doing, look at you purposefully, burp, and then resume play. It's hilarious!
