Are the Males really Hen-pecked by the Females?

My Bosley will not let Dixie near his food, or toys...He will bark and run at her to chase her away...BUT...other than that, Dixie rules...

My gal is so hard on poor Bosley....She torments him to no end. She will lay in wait, and when he passes by she pounces like a cat...and beats him with her paws..

In the mornings she races him down the stairs and if she gets there first will turn and jump on him, and try to chase him back up.

She shoves him to one side when going in and out of the house, and then waits to jump on him when he comes out. Sometimes he doesn't even want to go outside if she is in one of her "moods".

He tries to ignore her, and looks away, and even will try to go around her...She does not relent.

She is a real brat!!!!

But, I have to admit, that sometimes, when he has had enough, he gives it to her good! And then there is peace for a short while....Until she starts to tease him again...

Poor Bosley...

Miss Rags rules this place  Lacey and Pepsi know to move out of her way. I have be teaching Pepsi not to move away from his food bowl when she approaches. She needs to know she is NOT allowed to have it or intimidate him to get it. So I run blocking tactics while Pepsi eats so there is no eye contact. He is such a push over.
When they eat, Rags is the last one to get food. This has no effect of her. If it was up to her she'd eat everyone's food. Lacey's food is inaccessible to the Sheepies so that doesn't cause a problem, but when it was..... any time the Sheepies would come near Lacey would just let them have her food.

Pepsi will push her out of the way if someone is giving some attention.

Rags has recently let Lacey get away with taking food from her.... but this only seems to happen when Rags mouth is full. Lacey sneaks up under Rags chin and steals some food from her bowl. Go Lacey!!

So yes, the answer is the girls rule and I have to protect my boy from being tormented. Rags steals his toys, bones ... and then usually destroys!
Sami rules over BLue BUT my poodle rules over them she is the LOUDEST.
Violet has tormented China and I have to keep an eye on things. Yes, China is afraid of her. I do not tolerate Violet going after China and those incidents are almost none existant now. It took a lot of work to get to this point. When Violet is eating at her bowl, China will not walk past her unless I stand between the two and protect her. Violet also likes to lay in front of the doggy door so China can't go out to potty. I move her each time...she hasn't done that in a while either. I guess things are either getting better or Violet is getting old....I don't know. lol
Heart really picks on POOR Cosmo................She will respect Pearl and not get in her face...but Cos is a different story......When they all go out, before I open the door, Heart is growling and barking and nipping at Cos...he just tries to get away from her........

Right now, she is barking, that high-pitched puppy bark at him.....he must a the ONE bone (of about 6 ) that she has to have..........
oh those Bitches LOL
  Sheepie girls RULE

Maybe that is where the word "Bitches" originated from, females with attitude ? :lmt:

Poor bosley, hen pecked by Dixie, go Dixie girl, you rule girl  :P
It's kind of sad sometimes, isn't it? :( Annie definitely runs our household. Poor Fozzie gets snipped at and barked at all the time.
Apparently you've never met Suzi.
