This board is the 1st (and only) internet community I have ever taken part in. Because I have enjoyed it so much, and learned so much here, I (foolishly  ) thought I might enjoy some others.....yikes! 
So much nastiness, hostility and rudeness!!!! After just reading (NOT participating) in a few other dog-related groups, I hurriedly came running back here with my proverbial tail between my legs, and breathed a big sigh of relief....WHEW! Home at last!  
Im sure there are other good ones out there....but I suspect this place is the best.

| I agree with everything said too. The community spirit that exist in this forum and crosses many continents is remarkable! We laugh, cry, share and support each other and everyone is welcome, which makes this truly a special place to visit.
I can't thank Ron and Joan enough for having the vision to have started this forum many years ago as a tribute to their beloved sheepie Jake. Thanks to Jake too for making this possible. Marianne |
I have looked at other sites, but they seemed so trite. While I think a few of you are nuts, and you who you are. We get our straight jackets are the same place. I enjoy the chats, and have found much of the information very helpfull for me and others I know. Some of you have also broken mine and others hearts, and we hope you and yours improve. The site has also help me work on resisting impulses. Like a puppy, if I can resist a sheepie puppy I think I can resist anything.  |

| Since I live in LA there wasn't a lot or even a few people here in this state that understood my love of sheepies. I have made so many friends and learned so many things that I feel very blessed. This forum is a great place to belong to. |
