scared when walking out

Summer who is about 4 months old now stops and sits when a car goes past her and is getting skittish when out on a lead. I maintain it is because her hair is in front of her eyes and she cant see properly. Does anyone else think this might be the case? She is also puling on a lead. We just stop and she sits down and then pulls when we start off again. Not helped by her being scared of traffic as well.

I have found that Heart is a little "sheepish" around moving cars and I was (until my elbow fracture) was making a point of taking her out often and just sitting on corners, with treats. After a couple of cars go by, she seems ok...............

I have to postpone the next puppy class until my elbow heals ---I am really mad at myself---I have not having her in some kind of class.

Is Summer in any type of puppy classes??? If not, you may want to look into them....................
She has had 4 weeks at puppy classes but my husband is not impressed. First couple of weeks just play, then sit, come etc. at week there was only him with Summer and 2 girls who have jack russell brother and sister puppies. They totally mesmerized Summer and husband did ask the girls to control the dogs but they couldnt. Summer comes over and bowls my yorkie over, it has taken us almost a week to get her to play gentle again. Anyway thee are 2 weeks classes left but he isnt going. I am currently looking into basic training as she is pulling on her lead.
Does anyone think hair over eyes makes them skittish? Thanks!
I doubt thats why....but....easy way to find out: hair clips!
Jonah is pretty much the same way. What works for me is to carry some small, really great treats such as Natures Recipe venison. When I see a car coming I walk backwards with the treat in my hand so he can see it and call his name. This usually distracts him until the car passes and we go on our way.
I think we have done it to her ourselves. We walk round the streets, or there is an alleyway between 2 rows of houses nice and private but you do get cars go down it. When a car is coming we say "wait car" and stand at the side near the wall. So I think she is seeing a car in the road and wants to sit down. We are going to try giving the alley a miss for a bit and just go slowly in the streets. I have just booked her in for different training classes with someone I know. She is going along next week just to sit and watch!
