I assume you mean it is 14 above Celsius (57F)? That's pretty warm way up there!

It has been very warm in Boston. We had 80 degrees give or take over the last two days. I have only turned on the heat in a couple of rooms for a couple of hours on two days so far this year. Amazing.

If I recall, we had very warm weather last year, and then really paid for it with very cold weather in January and a long cold spring. But that's just my recollection.
yes celsuis, warm up here for sure, but now also raining. Blue outside just came in soaking and running as if he had a bath :? and looks very happy with himself.
I looks beautiful..................(as long as you can stay inside, by a fire, with hot chocolate and watch it from a picture window!!!)
it is still in the high 80's here in fla it should have cooled down by now send me some snow!!
It's been lovely weather here for the last few days but turned cold and damp today
8O We've had a very wet fall to date. Rain, rain every day. the fields are flooded to the east of us. My garden is too wet to tidy.
We are having weird weather too, last saturday 34C, this weekend we are expecting into the 30's again an early summer is on it's way. Not much in spring rains either, been a warm spring and going to be a scary summer again.
It's SO SNOWING CATS AND DOGS HERE NOW!!! I've never been so happy!!!

My son is going nuts. I have to catch him b/c as soon as I open the door to let Yuki out, he darts out in socks to try to touch the snow :yay:

Yikes....I cant even see across my driveway! 8O Looks like I'd better and make sure our plow truck guy still has us on his automatic list!!!! :twitch: The thread about paw-balm and snow booties was very timely...my pups came home from our walk today COVERED in ice balls! They sounded just like little ponies on the wood floor...clop clop clop
What snow? It has been raining here all day, no snow. :?

Ha...wussy Anchorageites! :P
really? I figured you guys would have a few more inches than us! 8O

To be honest, I'm not in the mood to shovel, so if it rained... I'd be okay w/that.

...but the kids are all outside excited about the new snow.

I want snow!

Ron, last year in Boston was pretty warm, winter came at the end of March at least in Swampscott. That was Boni's first snow at 2 months and he loved it. :D
Okay, I love snow but after awhile ...shoveling begins to suck. Not now.... it's never a big deal at first. There's a lot of satisfaction in seeing your driveway snow-free. There's a lot more outside than I thought (from inside). Winter here we come!
We had snow here last weekend. Today i had the air conditioner on and pruned all the rose bushes back............ go figure.

I hear we are in a 5 day cycle so this weekend again we will have cold rainy weather...........

One reason i do love it here is the Champagne snow. It is so dry it falls and evaporates in 48 hours usually. No mud!!

Ahhhemmm unless it was like LAST year when we were hit with7 back to back blizzards............. i hope we don't get THAT again this year!!
Well it's 2 a.m. my time, and it's already snowed the amount I just got finished shoveling before I went to bed. 8)

I feel like a little kid since I can't stop going to the window to look.
I'm so jealous of the snow!

I'm determined to see some this winter if I have to drive to Canada to do it.
The only bad thing about the start of snow is waiting and wondering when they will send the plow trucks through the neighborhood. Usually it's done by the time I wake up, but no one has come yet ....and it's STILL snowing. I hope they know i have a hair appt at 10.

I guess an area in Alaska had a 5.2-5.4 earthquake that made the news. They were reporting several every day. Crazy... my friends say they feel small ones all the time, but where I live (out of town) ........I don't.
