Ahh such a sweet story. There are restraunts in Florida that do allow dogs now. How are you enjoying living in Florida?
Cute story................

I could see that happening to me when I take Heart for a ride --she just lays on the seat and, every once in a while, pops her head up for a look. I love taking her ---she is so good and she is only 5 months old........... Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing
HAHAHAHA

When I was a "new mom" (a million years ago), I had this recurring nightmare that I would go off and leave the baby in the car because I had forgotten about him!!!
This is a frightening story... this is exactly how some moms and dads have forgotten their sleeping children in their cars with devastating results. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

I have always sympathised with them... how could the police charge and/or the prosecutors prosecute these poor unfortunate people...

I am SOO happy that Einy woke up and reminded you!
What a good boy, to be so quiet in the car! Wink

Ok...here's a MUCH worse example to make you feel better Shocked

My niece works for a couple who sell beads, ivory carvings and artifacts at various craft fairs and outdoor markets in the summer. They have an elderly GSD named Harmony who always goes to the markets with them and sleeps on her dog bed under one of the display tables. The market they were selling at goes through Saturday and Sunday, so on one Saturday night they just packed up the product and left the tent and tables where they were for the next day. They were most of the way home before they realized that poor Harmony was still back at the market, asleep under the table! Twitchy
Laughing

When we were leaving for Cancun I was running around like a chicken without a head trying to make sure I had everything for us and the kids.
The Sheepies were already at my SIL's kennel.

I set the house alarm, already did a final look in my bedroom and bathroom to make sure I didn't forget anything. Nope, couldn't find anything that I forgot, but still had that feeling. I figured if I needed something, I could buy it. I get into the car and we start driving out of the driveway. I scream STOP!!! Hubby says, "What did you forget now?" Evil or Very Mad

LACEY!! Shocked She was sound asleep in her usual spot in Hayley's room.
I am so used to having boisterious dogs that ae ready to bound out the door when we are leaving and my mind was elsewhere.

When we were backing out of the driveway I grabbed the leash which was on my seat to move it out of the way and realized the dog wasn't at the end of it. I cannot believe nobody else realized that we had forgot the dog. Glad we hadn't gotten on the road yet. I would have been so upset if we would have had to turn around an hour down the road.... and would have felt mighty stupid.
No joke- my husband's cousin did this with her kid.

Didn't leave her in the car- but left her in the dressing room at JC Penny's in a car carrier. 4 days old. She was trying on clothes - her 9 year old daughter knocked on the door- said she was sick and was going to throw up- and "Sue" ( alias) ran out of the dressing room to take the 9 year old to the restroom.. with her 7 other kids running behind. 9 kids in 9 years. Shocked The 9 year old was the oldest. They finished up in the restroom- and went to the car. She started to opened the van doors - and realized that she didn't have ... her purse...... Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

She went back in the store, the police were there- and that is when she saw baby. The story gets longer and more drawn out after this.

Just let me say- her Mother- John's Aunt was livid and embarrased she worked herself into a fit that put her in the hospital.

Everyone is fine- BUT... now when she goes shopping - or anywhere for that matter- DAD watches the kids.

Oh- and on a side note- their names correspond with the alphabet-
