What kind and how many animals do you presently have?

...that actually live in your house (not parents).

I love talking about pets (except snakes).

Also, while we're counting the heads in our home, do you have children? Kinda bad to put them in a topic about "pets," but I don't mean it that way. :)

Hello,

I also love hearing about everyone's pet and started this thread a few months back. It seems a lot of us hear are animal lovers. Can't ever go wrong with that.

oh thank you! Very interesting read. :)

BTW, I have considered getting a Ragdoll. My FI says no more cats, but he just hates to admit he loves our kitty more than anything.
I am guess I am lucky in that my hubby is a sucker for animals and is content in having a house full. It is funny when we first got together, he said he didn't like cats....he had never had one or been around them. It didn't take me long to convince him of the need for a cat. Then the need for 4. LOL I love all cats, but Ragdolls are the nearest to my heart. Same as sheepies are. We have found out having one cat is really no different than having 4, except litter duty and the cost to keep them in food and litter.

My hubby is just great when it comes to me and all the furbabies. He isn't really an animal person, or at least he wasn't, but I can tell he loves Winston, my big orange cat, and the dogs. I don't think he cares much for Isis, our other cat, but then i'm not really attached to her either, she's more my daughters cat.
I love all animals, I'd have a few of everything if I could. I've been thinking about getting another breed of dog in a few years, my choices at the moment are not very narrowed as there are so many breeds I love. Great Danes, Boxers, Dobermans, Schnauzers, and Bernese Mountain Dogs are my top five, aside from the OES at number one of course! At the moment I'm leaning towards a dobe or a boxer.... excellent guarding breeds, loving and loyal when raised correctly, and stunning to look at.
How cool. My dog's name is Isis. :D

Boxers fart a lot. Fun to watch them fight though (playfight). They get up on their hind legs like kangeroos. hahaha

I have three african pigmy hedgehogs - 2 girls - one a salt and pepper - the other an albino - 1 male that is an apricot.

I'm about to have 3 cats - sorta :D (One has been mine for a while - but once I move out my dad is probably not going to let me take him away) - all three are males. The oldest being 11 years old - a regular old tabby that wins everyone over. I have a purebred Himalayan - a cream point - which is soooo fluffy and beautiful. Since I liked him so much - I'm getting another Himalayan in November - seal point.

Once I move out I'll just have my 3 hedgies and my 2 Himmies... and to that... I shall add an OES. :D I'm going to have my house full of fluffies and pricklies.
