Didn't you ever see or red "Junglebook" Stacy?

Welcome to the forum Baloo & his Mama! :D
Welcome Baloo and family! :D
Thanks for the welcome Everyone.
Baloo is named after the Jungle Book bear... My husbands Idea. I like it.

Oh well guys..... When I try to put the avatar up it tells me my pic is too big so I guess we will have to wait....
Use the instructions under "How to create a thumbnail and use it as your Avatar ".

http://forum.oes.org/viewtopic.php?t=1119#45688

You've already mastered loading photos into the photo gallery. The photo gallery automagically makes thumbnails of just the right size to use as your avatar, so you've accomplished that, too.

That link and section of the instructions will tell you how to get from those thumbnails to avatar. :D
OMG that was sooooo easy!

Thanks! IT WORKED.....
Welcome..........To YOU and BALOO!!!!!

A new puppy is so exciting!! Contgrats!!!!!!
Welcome. :D My sister in law has a dog named Baloo.
Does Baloo have one blue eye and one brown eye? I can see the blue, but am not certain about the one behind the patch. My Violet has one blue and one brown, two dogs in one.
Yep... the eye on the white side is BLUE and the one on the black side is dark. I think it makes him sweet! Ya know.... someone told me once that people pay more for a whole white head on their sheepie--- I WANTED one with a black patch... HA HA
Hey Crustybirds...

Is her puppy a sheepie also?!? :D I love the way your picture changes... how'd you do that???

I adopted my Violet when she was 9 mts old from a rescue...she has HD, which I knew when I adopted her...I have never regretted a minute of having her. I also have an Aussie Shepherd China, with a white face and blue eyes. You can click on my camera and see Violet, China and Pearl the cat. Enjoy your boy Baloo!
My sister-in-laws Baloo is an Aussie with the most gorgeous blue eyes you ever saw. Only bad thing is that Baloo is a little inbred and he doesn't like you to look him in the eyes. Go figure  That and he has very bad lines and some other issues. Not that I would ever know since I think he is beautiful.

As for the avatar.....my husband did it for me and I have not a clue how he did it. I don't understand computer stuff very well. Here is a post with him explaining how he made it work though. http://forum.oes.org/viewtopic.php?t=12814

Your boy Baloo is very cute. I like the patch. My husband also wanted a dog with a patch on his head. He liked them better then the snow caps. I like them both and now it doesn't even really matter because Edgar's patches faded so much.
welcome from fla can't wait to see more pics

If you read the breed standard, you'll see that there's nothing that makes the all white head preferable. Me, I prefer patches and especially masks. Like you, it's just a personal preference thing. I have two white-headed kids, one with a patch and two dark ears, one with a full mask - who looks like a big, fluffy racoon and behaves like a goat, but I digress  - and one who has sort of a beret. I like the variety. You don't pick them based on markings, but you do probably tend to find that you favor one of the other.

Love the name!

Hi and welcome! You're right.. there is lots of good info on here. We just got our puppy 2 days ago. Take it from me.... get some sleep now!!!

BTW - our puppy has one blue eye and one brown eye too!
Only 2 1/2 more days till Baloo gets here to his FURever family.
I can't wait....
