My Grooming Miracle

I know this is not a big deal to most of you, but you have to know that while my wigglebums enjoy the attention of getting brushed, they are rarely ever still while we're doing it. They get on the table fine, but they squirm around, stand up, sit down, turn around, it's like a game of hokey pokey.

Also, most of the time, I set the table up on the back deck, so there are LOTS of distractions in the form of neighborhood kids, cats, squirrels, etc.

So, in light of all that, getting this to happen was nothing short of a miracle.
This is Genevieve lying quietly on the grooming table last night. :excited:

I'm pretty sure if I can get Beaureguard to do this too, I can be canonized for sainthood when I die.

Oh yeah...I almost forgot...here they are after being brushed. I am trying to let their hair grow out again. Wish me luck!! :D And be prepared to listen to me whine.

Aw, Tammy - they look stunning! :hearts: I can't wait to meet them!
Thanks, Chris! :D It took me the better part of two weeks to get all the matts out after our camping trip. So, I'm really proud of the fact that they are in good shape and I didn't have to cut any hair! :yay:

Now, if their coats can survive the beach trip, I'm home free.
I'm excited for you to meet them, too!! :P
That's awesome! It's those little achievements that mean so much. I totally understand!
What's best is they both look so happy after the grooming session.
Yes, Jill, it's those baby steps that keep me going.

Jo, that's because of the treats they get when we're finished.

They look beautiful!

Did you slip something into Gen's water bowl to get her to pass out?
Ha! I've thought about it Steph - some Bach's Rescue Remedy.
