How long have I been here?? Just discovered something here

I always wished there was a button that I could push that would automatically bring me to the last post instead of having to scroll down each page...

well, what do you know...

I just realized the ORANGE tiny paper next to each subject or the orange tiny paper next to the username of the last person who posted (depends on how you're viewing it) does just that. <<hits head> > Doh!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
i DIDN'T KNOW THAT either, double du'ohhhhhhhhhh
Seriously?? :o Thanks for sharing!! I never knew it either.
Ditto to that - cool! :D
Yes we learn something new every day! I didn't know about this either until now!
 Ron, the Lord of the Forum, thinks of everything!
OMG and I thought the "back to top" bit and view posts since last visit was good
Hey, that's a standard feature of this BB, but I have an even better one up my sleeve.

But it's gonna be by subscription, I think.

Maybe I'll give it to everyone for a while just to get you all hooked!
Then I could charge Oprah money to use it! Like 1 hundred dollars! MUhahahaaha

That's not a lot? Oh. Then we hold the world ransom for 1... hundred... BILLION dollars!
It's news to me too; but unless you've read all the prior posts, how will you know to say something original? :D
Did you know you can also choose to watch certain topics for replies? Click the link at the bottom left of the list of posts and when a reply comes the system notifies you via email (just like when you get a PM). Then you can stop watching for replies the same way.

It takes you to the first post created since the last time you looked at the thread. So you still see all the posts.

Is it the kind that remembers what post you read last and goes directly to the first new post? That would be neat!!!

Subscriptions? Do we get even more emoticons to annoy people
I can't wait until this starts!!!!
I personally love the "roll back" feature...I can look back at all new posts from the last time I was on...3 hours/6 hours/12 hours....then I just go to all the new posts and have fun reading them all...........................
Sooooooo....

Whattaya think?

:D :D :D :D :D
I haven't figured out what you're talking about. :?
Sheeeeesh. Well I gues sit took you four years to find the orange link, I guess a big ol' text link that says

"View New Posts in Next Topic"

might slip by.

Loook lower right                            :downarrow: :downarrow: :downarrow: :downarrow: :downarrow:
WOOAAAAH!! Amazing! There should be a forum guide for dummies here.
:o OMG!!! :o

  :go: :excited: This is MARVELOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :excited: :go:
The way to use the new link is as follows:

When you go into a forum (say this one (General Chit Chat)) to read all the new posts, scroll down till you get to the last "New Posts" icon. The new posts icon is an orange colored piece of paper. If you have to go past page 1 you can do that.

When you find the last one that is orange, click on that piece of paper -- it will take you to the first post within the thread that has been made since you last visited. Notice I didn't say the "first one you haven't read". There can be and frequently is a difference between the two. For instance you read a thread and while you're visiting, more people reply to it.

Anyway, after you have read all of the witty posts in that thread, if you click on the new "View New Posts In Next Topic" link, it will do the same thing as going back to the forum category, finding the next oldest post and clicking on the orange icon. The new link will take you to the newer thread and directly to the first "unread" post.

When I first started using this feature it was a little odd -- I don't know into what conversation I was landing. Then I realized I can glance up at the dark-blue title bar of the window that I'm in and see the title of the topic, and you can always back up if you need to refresh your memory on the topic.

Enjoy!

Well, I'll be!! I never noticed that one either!
OK, so, why do some of the white pumpkins have flashing orange eyes and others do not?
