Help Me Name kittens Please!

Hey everyone,

As most of you know I foster for various animal rescues - mainly feral kittens, kittens with no moms, nursing moms and kittens, special needs bunnies and severely injured animal hospital patients, ones that need lots of TLC. I was up to 25 in my household until last week, back to 23 this week. Cough cough...11 are mine the rest fosters.

In July I got several little ferals and they are now socialized enough to go to new homes. Broken Pelvis kitty(adult grey female) is now also completely healed and is ready for a forever home. (They are all SPCA kitties) I always have a hard time picking names while some are just easy such as Petunia (the little grey Manx kitten who has bowel problems).

Here's where I need help as kitty viewing for the public is booked next week and I can't think of names !!! I had named the little tabby boy, Spike, but think I want a name that invokes thoughts of a good buddy - he's a big suck that runs up to me for kisses and pats.

Broken Pelvis kitty (I've always referred to her as that) still doesn't have a name.

The other two were easy enough as the calico female was named Autumn and Petunia -

Baby Tabby boy needs a name!

So does sweet faced Broken Pelvis kitty. PS she's not a Manx but has a stump for a tail due to her accident.

My other two precious kitties , Autumn and Petunia. Ironcially little Petunia who is a tailess Manx resembles Borken Pelvis Kitty quite a bit.

So please post ideas on possible names - thanks in advance!

the male: Tippy

the female: Cleo (cleopartra) or Onyx

Good luck with the adoption
Aww..

The Male.. Paddington, wellington, Marmalade, We have a cartoon cat here called Bagpuss which is really cute..

The girl... Stella, mmm im stuck!! on girls names

I'll have a think!!!!
How about

1) Darn Cat
and
2) Lucky Cat
The markings on Tabby, by and above his eyes look like the letter M, looks like a butterfly, and also a bat. So, something like Max for the M, or another M name, or if you know the names of butterflies or bats????

The little girl, Lacie Pearl Sky Abby Kittie

Good luck.
We gave a friend a male kitten years ago that she still has ....she named him Buddy, looks just like your male boy there. Lets see what else I can think of.........brain isn't up to par today though, lol.

Tigger
Chauncy
Snooky (lol, don't know where that one came from)
Leo

And for the female

Angela
Angel
Bella
Jazzy
Jasmine
Bluebell

I love thinking up names...unless its for my own....then it takes forever lol.
Awwww....cute little guys!!

Male ~ Gunner, Chipper, Ceasar, Spike, Winston, Chester, Gus, Tater, Hanky, Jake, Rocco, Casper, Ringo, Augustine, Boji,

Female ~ Sugar, Star, Estelle, Ginger, Cleopatra, Grace, Abbey, Maggie, Lilly, Brooke, Hope, Faith, Pearl,
For the little boy:

Samwise (from the Lord of the Rings)

Dobby (from Harry Potter)

or, since (for some reason) he makes me think of fantasy characters:

Hobbit

Munchkin

Elf

Gremlin

For the girl....something lovely and feminine...

Opal

Pearl

Aurora
I like the suggestion of Aurora for the girl. The boy looks a bit like the boy I lost...his name was Jasper.
Some thoughts...

The tabby boy - Pete, Clancy, Charlie, William
The blue (gray) girl - Anastasia, Reina,

He looks like an Ocelot, so Ossie for him...

She looks as soft as Velvet, so Velour or Velvet for her.

I'm sorry. It's the best I can do...
the boy looks like my Peeper Kitty here!!!

Ali
I love Bluebelle for the girl and Tigga for the boy.
For Tabby boy - Pepper and for Broken Pelvis Kitty - Smoke or Gracie. :)
I don't have one for the boy but I think broken pelvis should be Stumpy. ;)
How about girl: Zoey

Boy: Askhim get it whats his name you say ask him

I always have problems naming pets had a dog once called DD for that Darn Dog. Because she was always getting in trouble.

Also a cat called Askhim because I could not think of anything. But the looks from people were funny.
Thanks everyone for the great suggestions!

I checked the SPCA website for names already given to the kitties at the shelter and with your list in hand it helped quite a bit.

I'll also have a continuing revolving door regarding fosters so while I may not choose the name some of you suggested at this time, I'll keep it for future reference.

Marianne
I think Stumpy may have limited value though, Marianne. You better use it while it's good!
