If you recently changed laundry detergent or fabric softener it could definitely be that.

Or could be a rash from stress. I have had it before and had to go on a course of prednisone for it. :(
When I first came down with shingles on my face, my dr recommened that I use hydracortazone to stop the itching and encourage healing. You can buy it over the counter in the drug store. It is not expensive so maybe give it a try. My face did not scar from the blisters because of using it. Good luck.
Most of the small rashes are on my legs, wrists, ware m socks on my legs are, upper legs. what do I do first stop fabrick softner ,,,, I am useing a itching cream. And on the real bad ones use cortizone. ?????
You could try an oatmeal bath for some immediate relief. It could really be any number of things.

Maybe the local pharmacist could offer some more specific advice? Sorry you're itchy. :(
my dad had an rash real bad he scratched until he bleed he tryed many things but what worked was tea tree (pure) addes some on some cream he used a cream the docs use before they and their stuff, glazol base
(spelling is wrong) But the tea tree worked in a day and half and took the inch away.
Have you been outside? We are bothered by those little no-see'ums that leave a horrible itch everywhere they get you. The itching starts hours after I am outside! They are driving me crazy, as I want to be outside, but I pay for it later.
Could be a parasite.
I saw some place to paint the inside the watch band with clear nailpolish. I did.

It so far has worked/ no rash or itching.
I think I have more than one thing going on.
guess I will take away one thing at atime, and see what happens.

Even if you do have an allergy or sensitivity to something, it can remain minor enough to not bother you till you are stressed. :( The fact that its worst in "contact" areas makes it sound like hives to me. I get those at times of extreme stress.
You are right. I have been stressed out to beyond ever. WEEKS!, Almost 2 yrs of one thing after another,
Yesterday I had to deal with the handyman who worked on our back yard all day. Plus the cost of it. (you all know why changes HAD to made). But it stresses me to the max. I have used the same detergent and fabsoftner for 6 months.

VERY little sleep. Maybe 3 hours a night or less. The night before NONE.
I have started to take 4 different kinds of multivitamins. One is All liquid.
They are killing my tummy so I am also on prilosec.( Dr.'s perscription)
trying to building myself up. Again all for the same reasons. ( don't want to talk about that!!!!

Deanna: With alergies to ex: detergent, softner, they don't always come out right away... I have many allergies and my dr told me that sometimes it has to build up to a certain amount before your body reacts to it, so it may be the detergent/softner. So start there and make sure you wash your skin off with soap and rinse really well before you put the meds/anti itching cream on. Stress shows it's ugley head in many ways...the reason I have had shingles for six months now.

Also with the change of season. When I lived in Michigan with the four season, every Autumn and Spring I would have skin break outs. Being in Florida has stopped that since our season's don't change that much. Also, the turning on the furnace ect. There are so many reasons, you just have to play detective for a while.

I hope you feel better soon.
Maybe you should see a Dr?
A friend told my sister about a bar of soap at Rural King (Farm &... supply store). She had poison ivy and this soap took care of the itch. Sorry, maybe someone can help me out with the name, but I know it worked. It was also good for other itching ailments.

I used a tar and sulfur shampoo on one of my dogs who suffered occassional skin allergies. It worked wonders on her, maybe they have a similar people friendly product.

I agree, doctor knows best. Well, their suppose to.
