| This topic is available here on forum.oes.org | They are not OES pups but I recieved this e-mail in the office and needed to post in case anyone has any other ideas or knows of a Lab group close to Va for her to get these guys too. They're very sweet and I do want them to all get good homes, I have given her my contact info so feel free to send me info and I'll keep in touch with her about the pups, thanks guys
Free Puppies!
6 black lab (mix) puppies were rescued out of the middle of the road on
Saturday. PLEASE help me find them homes - otherwise, it's Animal
Control -
which means they only have 5 days. We've bathed them, sprayed them for
fleas
and wormed them....but we can't keep them. They are currently in a
kennel in
my basement since I don't have a fence. I've lost count of the number of
rescue groups that I've contacted, only to be turned down due to no
room.
Please check with every dog person you know to see if they need a puppy.

| Apparently this is some sort of sick scam. There was the same posting on the Burlington (VT) craigslist. The post uses a local number and your post is the exact same wording as this ad.
I don't understand why people would do that  | Wow, if this really is a scam, what a great (as in sick and maybe illegal) way to harvest email addresses for SPAM! Send out an email like this, wait for it to spread and as people contact you, you've got a great list of email addresses belonging to people who care about animals.
Ooooooh.
Who knows, maybe people will send money, too.
