Harry is the pet of the week!

Hey check out this link to this store in Frankenmuth, MI. We stopped in while were at Nationals to shop and they loved him so much they kept taking his picture. I just got around to checking out their website and was surprised to see he was the pet of the week!

Sounds like someone was listening to Elton John this morning . . .
I could have said:

It seems he hangs upon the cheek of night
Like a rich jewel in an Ethiop's ear.
Beauty too rich for use, for earth too dear.

But then you'd accuse me of reading. ;)
That is awesome!! woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course, he had a taste of the brats while he was there - they fell "accidentally" on the ground - and he was obligated to clean it up!
 :yay:  Congratulations Harry, of course you won, no contest there with the fluffy handsome Hunk of sheepie.
Woohoo! Harry! You're famous!!

Your secret masked admirer :hearts:
Judi - if you had time to shop and be a tourist - you didn't enter enough classes!!!! 8O

But, of course congrats to Harry - what a honey pie! :D

Dawn, you crazy gal what other kind of classes could we have entered? Maybe we could have entered the Clean-up class to scoop and mop during the Sweepstakes after the excited puppies entered the ring. Or we could have entered the Get-Your-Energy-Out class and Harry could have exercised all the other sheepdogs as needed. Or finally we could have entered the class for People-crazy-enough-to-bring-only-a-non-show-dog-to-Nationals. We would have won that class since we were the only ones there!

Besides I think we embarrassed ourselves enough in the three classes we entered. Our only saving grace was having minimal spectators since the barbeque was a mile away!
Harry did great in agility!! So next year you can be in rally or obedience too, right?. Now that we all know what a smartie pants Harry is....or is it Judi who is the smartie pants?.......... :sidestep:
congratulations Harry, you look wonderful :D

Judi! What parallel universe did you and Harry occupy last week in Michigan?

A number of the performance dogs are non-show dogs and a number of their owners will only OWN non-show dogs, thank you very much!

Yeah, the BBQ separation was unfortunate (health regs). Though we had more specators than we've ever had before. Not sure if it was the BBQ or Harry's reputation that perhaps preceded him :D

I hate to tell you this - and I mean I REALLY hate to tell you this for personal reasons  , but Harry doesn't even RANK in the embarrassment category.

Exhibit one: Wisconsin 2001 - Belle. Enough said.

I'm sure someone has that gracious debut on tape

You and Harry did great. You just won't understand that until you've attended more nationals  (Y'all come back now, ya hear?)

I must agree with Kristine on many accounts...although as far as embarassement....did you see Luca's one and only agility run??????????

If you do not enjoy a good embarrassing moment every now and then Judi....why did you get a sheepdog :D They are notorious for embarrassing thier people especially at National events. So be proud...Harry lived up to all our expectations and then some.

I look forward to seeing you guys in a ring again soon...fabulous enthusiasm and all!!!!!

What run? Did he run? Agility, I mean? Because I missed most of it, but a mutual friend of ours who has it on tape keeps rewatching it and cackling and asking me why he kept running in circles? And making me try to explain agility based on this one run.
HOW CAN I EXPLAIN THIS WHEN I CAN'T EVEN EXPLAIN LUCA?!!! :lmt:

Actually, when he described his propensity to run in large circles and it seemed that you could not keep up with him, I defaulted to my earlier nagging advice to you - two words: longer legs! You've somehow got'em in the breed ring. Make sure you bring them with you onto the field.

(Visions of Luca driving the stationwagon, Sunny jogging valiantly along side, maybe some good Rocky XIII music playing in the background...? :sidestep: )

Kristine - been there, done that. It's a good thing he's cute. :go:
