I had a client at my house yesterday who was going to breed her pug. Now she is not, the pug is to small, why to small..... someone in the family had fed her BEER a few times.... and it stunted her growth Question Is that true. Just wondering?
I don't think there's any reason that a few sips of beer would stunt growth. I guess if they were flooding her with it and turned her into a drunk, maybe her brain wouldn't develop as well.
I have heard about Brandy used on Toy Poodles to stunt their growths. Confused I have no idea if it works. I believe they give them a dropper full right after they have been born.
hmmm, it is weird?

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Wow, I never heard of this before. How crazy. Heehee maybe they should test this out on MythBusters. Very Happy
Now I would like to know if the vet told her that?? If so how did they come up with that? The pug was problaly the runt!
Puppies are adorable. They are so clumsy and cute. If we gave a sheepie a whole can of beer does that mean it will stay a puppy forever! Is that the trick?

It sounds great but I am sure there could be some pretty serious side effects. The puppy's organs can't be fully mature. Wouldn't that harm them?
I believe beer or any kind of alcohol can be very harmful to a dog - especially a puppy. To me, feeding beer just to keep a dog small borders on abuse. I think its outrageous Mad
I think so also, just do not understand why people would do that.
Don t know if I would believe that. I do have a picture of Obe laying down with a beer between his paws but that is as close as he came to getting it. I just thought it would be a neat picture and it is.
