Dog handling classes/seminars
I am interested in conformation but really feel that I would need to have classes before I get started. Any suggestions? I have looked at the area kennel clubs and they do not offer that service -- does anyone know of any professional handlers in the area that teach dog handling? Thanks! |

Your breeder should be able to help you find someone, even if he/she isn't in the area.

| If you are not successful trying to find them through your local kennel club, try your neighboring counties. You can find handlers in your area through AKC.org but most likely the more popular ones listed will be pretty busy grooming/traveling to dog shows to give you lessons but maybe they can recommend someone. If there is a dog boarding/training facility in your area, sometimes they offer conformation classes as well or can suggest where you can go. |
