The pooches are Babysitting..

I have my 3 year old nephew at my house for an overnighter.
He loves "Boswee and Kissey"... ....

Bosley follows him everywhere, and is forever shoving his big nose in the child's face, and giving him big, warm kisses.

Dixie, on the other hand, is not doing so well. When he arrived she barked non-stop at him for a good 5 minutes. When he decided to quietly bark back at her she ran and hid under my desk...and wouldn't come out.
She is keeping her distance when he is walking around, but did come and give him a sniff, once he dozed off in my lap. Afterall, he did have some cracker crumbs on him...

It is interesting to watch her, as she is really good with the kids at our trailer park, giving kisses, and enjoying them brushing her...and when we are on walks etc. she is great with children. I guess she is just not used to seeing a child "in her house" so is kind of spooked by the whole thing.

Maybe tomorrow he can share his cereal with her and make friends...

Sounds like Bosley is having fun. I hope Dixie can join in too.
My toy Poodle Scooter liked kids, but not when they were in my house.
I think he though they were trying to steal his Mommy.
Cute stuff! I hope Dixie learns from Bosley's example. Pictures please!!
What a nice thing for you to do for them! ...plus, it helps that you good dogs to entertain him! :)
