Saline solution

I went to a cook out last weekend and a lady that was there worked at a vets office. She said that I could use saline solution to clean tear stains and beard. Just wondering if anyone has ever tried this or heard of it for that matter. She said they use it at the vets office to help clean up dogs (with lite colored coats) that come in, blood stains, tear stains, etc.

Saline is salt water. No special cleaning ability that I am aware of with dirt or blood. And I've worked with human blood for 30 years (patients).
Ditto, just sterile salt water.

If you are worried about tear stains there is a product for dogs made especially to help called ""daimond Eye" by Vitacoat.
Ohhh, I need that. Chopin's eyes are always tearing up--and the white fur patched one has a constant stain. Thanks for the heads up
