Ok...Ok...I'll fill you all in. The home which has the new member of the family that Ali is talking about...is MY home!! Her name is Carmella (Bella for short). She is 3 years old. She is one of Ali's sheepies. There is one word that I have been telling Ali that decribes Bella...SWEET!!!  She is the most lovable girl I have seen since my Roxy....whom alot of you know passed away 3 months ago. The funny thing is.....Bella came to live with us exactly 3 months to the day Roxy passed. Ali and I both agree that we think Bella was meant to live with my husband and I....along with our 13 year old Andy (Cocker). Andy and she are getting along very well and we have noticed that Andy once again is acting like his old self again. You see...after Roxy left us....Andy hasn't been himself. He has had diarriah (sp) and has changed his eating habits. The vet has checked him out but says he has been showing signs of depression. I know this sounds funny....but the very day Bella came....things have improved for him. He is calm and just seems comfortable again. My husband and I have been going back and forth trying to decide when the time will be right for us to be owned by another sheepie. You guys wouldn't believe how great she fits in to our family. A couple mornings ago....she jumped on the bed and SLURP.....right across my face....but like I told Ali....I didn't mind it one bit!! I will post some pictures of her really soon too....right now my camera is out of batteries.Most of all I want to thank Ali for bringing Bella to us. Bella will be very much loved and will always be a cherished member of our family! Teresa, Bob,Andy and Bella |

| Norr and i couldn't be happier that Bella and Theresa and Bob found each other. Bella was kind of like her mom and not REALLY happy itn a multi OES home. I keep asking myself BELLA???? when she says how 'CALM" Bella is!! Even Amber said "BELLA????" lol.
It's the right decision and she is only 14 monutes away from me if need be.......... Ali with only Rosie (14), Duncan (9), Delilah (4) and Checkers and Calypso (4 mo)......... and PEEPERS............ the kitty~~ |

| you should have asked that before last night. NOT a good night. Checkers and Calypso still have
their nights and days mixed up...... they start in around 330 AM wanting to play.....and BARK........ i keep looking at these 2 thinnking they really do need to be split up, they are bonding to each other ........... and then they come running to me when i call them with unconditional love in their little faces so happy to see me (even if it is 530 am and the water sprinklers were on and i didn't realize it) and think there is no way i can split them up. As an aside, I WISH it was me. I can't wait for another puppy but we have a full house right now. I think in many ways, having a really old dog is like having a puppy. So much extra attention, making sure everything's ok, medication, supplements and, worst of all, just watching them grow old. |
