6 month old puppy--food questions

1. How much should I be feeding him now? I haven't really changed the amount since he was three, and he doesn't seem to be suffering from it, but I was still wondering how much he should be getting or when I should change it.
2. I've read some threads where people disagreed on this, but what's considered the right time to change from puppy food to adult?

Thanks for the help!

I assume when you say "three", you mean three months?

Depending on what type of food you feed, and the weight of the puppy, that will help determine how much. I think my puppy at 6 months was eating two cups in the morning, 1 cup in the afternoon and two cups at night. Sometimes he would eat the afternoon meal and sometimes he wouldn't. he is now 9 months and weighs 82 pounds. He gets 2 cups in the morning and 2 in the evening. I am starting to switch him over to adult food. I've been introducing it slowly, mixing with the puppy food and now am feeding half and half mixed together. I'll switch him completely over during the next few weeks so that by about 10 months old he will be on adult.

He was neutered in July and the vet told us we can start switching him over to adult and to start decreasing the treats!
