For the love of Daisy...

When Daisy was so sick with her Cancer earlier this year before we lost her - I kept thinking how terrible it would be if finances had been the deciding factor on whether we chose to try to treat her or not so I decided to hold a charity ball to raise money for the PDSA (a UK charity that helps less fortunate people pay for vetinary treatment for their pets) and also Breakthrough (a Breast Cancer charity) We held the ball last Saturday - it was a great success with over 200 people there and we raised almost £3,000 which will be split between the two charities. It took a lot of organising but it was all worthwhile to see so many people having a great night - we had a disco, comedian, charicaturist and magician along with a fabulous meal with everyone in their finery! This is the third year I have organised a charity ball and everyone said it was the best yet!

Sorry to blow my own trumpet but I feel very proud right now! I Have attached a picture of my family in our party best! Next year it would be great to have a contingent of UK sheepie owners there with me so I'll let you know the date when its decided!
