| My doctor said that taking 2 Flintstone vitamins is a good choice. I was taking some vitamins and they hurt my tummy too but now I just take my Flintstones and I'm all set! They are chewable, but they taste good. |
| What about the liquid ones? |
| Have you been to a vitamin-specific shop? Like GNC or the Vitamin Shoppe. They carry a lot more variety than a regular pharmacy or grocery store, and the sales people are usually pretty knowledgable on the various types of vitamins. I know there are some liquid vitamins you can buy online too. I've never tried them, so I can't offer you any specific advice, although I hear little tidbit advertisements about them on the radio. |
| I take my kid's vitamins with them. |
| My doctor, whom I believe to have serious mental recall issues (ie no memory), and I have a similar conversation each visit.
She always asks me to list my medications. Amongst them, I tell her I am taking vitamins B and D. She then asks me each time if I am taking a multi-vitamin. I say no, then she says: "Well, B and D are the most important ones, but you should be taking a multivitamin. For instance they are finding that "name a vitamin or trace mineral" does "name a cure". It's fun guessing which trace mineral she will mention in this sentence. |
