Halloween: Do NOT Go See This Movie!!!
 How proud the parents of those child actors must be!!!! I guess as long as it's bringing in money, they don't question anything.
I felt horrible for sitting in that theatre supporting such a filthy movie. We were not the only 2 who walked out, by the way! I usually screen our movies on a website that rates each movie on a scale of 1 to 10 for violence, sex, and foul language. For whatever reason, I forgot to check this one. I checked it when we got back... 10 10 10!!!!!!!!!! I don't think you can find another movie on that site that is rated that badly! Please do not go see this movie, or let your kids go see it. It will definitely scar your mind! Also, I strongly recommend this site to anyone: http://www.kids-in-mind.com/ . It is meant for kids, but we use just to check out movies that we want to see. If you do have kids, it's a great tool to know clean a movie that they're asking to see will be. Not all ratings are created equal, so this site gives you a better idea of what you're walking into. Also, not everyone wants to be subjected to stuff like that. |

| I've heard from several places that there's a lot of unnecessary profanity the first 10 minutes. Most of the people I know didn't like it or thought it was okay. Lots of gore compared to the originals.
I'll definitely see it because it's one of my favorite series. Never thought it was scary though. Wheww... However, I didn't understand why they needed to make this one. In every movie, they've revealed why and how he became who he is and why, so...... this seems redundant. |

Yes, my husband told me that after we walked out. I said, "I thought Rob Zombie was a band??" I don't know why I didn't know better about this movie. My only defense is that that Halloween H20 is probably the only movie I've seen from this series, and compared to the new one, H20 should have been rated G! It was nothing like what we saw last night. And there's not unnecessary cussing in the first 10 minutes...it's the ENTIRE movie. And I'm not sure about the gore, because I looked away for all of those parts. Definitely a waste of an evening! |

I almost went to see it last night.... think I will sometime this week.... I didn't know Rob Zombie directed it (or anything about him), but I know the basic story line of a crazy psychopath. I thought it would be a cheesy scary movie, not a porno-filth film. By the way, Halloween H20 was also rated R, and scored a 3..8..6 on the kids-in-mind.com website (compared to this one's 10..10..10). And just to check, I did a search on the site by ratings... only one came up for perfect 10's. Out of every movie out there ever! Go see it if you want, but I was ashamed to sit in that theatre. |
