attack of the killer slug!

Summer was just playing on the patio, she suddenly started crying we rushed out..she was jumping in circles holding her back paw up. I went to pick her up thinking she has broken her paw is she going to bite me? There was a slug attached to her fur! I removed it, gave her a cuddle and she carried on playing. Not so brave hey!

Poor baby! Slugs are IKY!

My boy Bert (almost a year old at the time...NOT a tiny puppy!) did the same thing. He was spinning in circles, whining and acting very panicked, and since I had just seen him sniffing some bushes my 1st thought was a bee-sting! 8O Nooooo....it turned out to be a TINY little spider that had landed on his mussel, and was climbing around in his fur
:D Those slugs are really gross! My guys have come in the house with those to

Foz went behind our couch one day and came out, laid down, and was making funny faces. I figured he was eating something so I went over to look at him. There was a huge carpenter ant crawling on his upper lip which was tickling Foz!
Nothing beats the GIANT black or white slugs we saw on vacation. We were in WA state, at and near the Olympic Nat'l Park and Puget Sound.
I stepped on one (with socks, thank goodness) and about puked when it squished!! 8O
I don't blame her, slimy slugs YUCK.

With one of mine it was a big hairy Huntsman spider, I ran away from her. I hate hairy spiders.

Don't ya just luv it what they can collect in their coats. 8O
Aww, poor Summer. Gross!
Poor Summer I'd be jumping around also if it was on me
Did you know if you put slug pellets down before before Feb 14th you kill the slugs before they breed!!

Obviously Valentines Day is romantic for slugs as well!!
