Cute Collars!

I know Nanny is just an infant, but I already bought her first collar. It's soo cute! Actually, I bought a few weeks before she was even born. =P

I have been buying these types of collars for my cat for a while, but his don't get attached to leashes or anything. Do you guys think it's okay to get these cutesy collars, or is it better to stick with something else? I am new to all of this, and I know there are lots of specifics involved with their grooming and everything, so I wasn't sure about their collars.

Regardless, it's very cute! :D

These were also some contenders:

I bought a very cute collar (very similar to the first one in your post) for Stella, and it looked great on her, but to be honest, it just wasn't strong enough for her and ended up breaking (she pulls a lot still). If you train your dog very early to walk nicely on a leash, though, I bet it would last longer. Sampson is about 5 months old, and he is much better on a leash than Stella, so his collar will likely last much longer. I had to switch to a leather buckle collar for Stella, and it seems to hold up much better, however the groomer recommended switching to a rolled leather collar to cut down on mattig around her neck (she's in a half-coat right now).
I think they're adorable! Yuki needs a new one! Her black one makes her look blaghhhhhh...

Yay!! That must mean they'll work out. Sydney gets a new collar in his stocking every year. Now I can get some for Nanny, too!

Right now, Sydney is wearing a pink&brown gingham one. It's really cute, but he's a boy, so my hubby says Sydney hates it. I say Sydney doesn't know the difference...besides, I see a lot of guys wearing pink these days.
I agree! My husband wears pink but he does tease Ben when I put his hair up in a knot....he say's he looks like a girl...I say he's just jealouse since Ben has beautiful hair & he is bald
Chewie has long hair, so a cute collar is a waste. So he just has one nice one that only I every get to see.

Val has some really fun ones for Maggie and Chum!

Same here. I don't keep collars on either of the boys. I only get fun collars for Lucy and even now, her hair is growing in so they're about to get lost in her fur.

I love your choices though. I like the brown one with the turqouise and blue dots.
I like your choices. They're all great, but the last one is my favorite.

The wigglebums only wear collars when they're required to have their tags on, so we don't get much use from them and they last a long time.
Those are so cute!!! Pirate has a black leather collar with (of course) skull and crossbone metal studs. We couldn't ever see it, til he got his summer haircut. Its really cute.

Keira has a pink collar with bling. Although she's really not a bling dog, but I'm a bling owner!!!

Thank goodness, she puts up with me.

Same thing here. When Todd got Maggie, his coonhound, I was so happy to have a girl dog in the family! I bought her a real cute pink plaid collar. Todd is color blind, so to him it looks just like the green plaid one Simon has!

I got some pink - I knew flowers or other girlie stuff wouldn't fly.
I know how you feel, we have 2 male cats, Pirate (male), so Keira, whether she likes it or not, will have pink!!!!
