Very Clever

I was visiting a friend yesterday and noticed a new and unique elevated feeder. She asked me a couple months ago if I knew where to get an affordable feeder. I told her she may want to build one as most feeders that I'd seen were expensive.

She found a great alternative solution at Home Depot. She bought two metal plant stands on seasonal closeout, 50% off! In total, she spent $15 for a heavy duty, attractive, raised feeder.

Very Clever. 8) Her Sheepie girl thinks it's "Sheepelicious".

Yay!

Less $$ spent on feeder, more $$ to spend on feed!

:cow:
What an excellent idea!
good thinking!
Hate to put a damper on things, but unless your dog is elderly and having trouble reaching down to feed then elevated feeders are not a good idea.

They are linked to contributing to bloat now.

Mine are floor feeders & drinkers from their bowls. Especially as elevated feeders are linked to contributing to a greater chance of bloat occuring. With larger deep chested breeds and OES fit that catergory the risk of bloat is greater. Not a natural position to eat or drink when elevated.
