I heard from Betsy and everything is going as planned.
But listen to this, last night I received an email from a DVM in Huntsville, there is a scheepie girl in the shelter needing to be rescued.
Well, since Betsy is going to Huntsville I thought she might pick her up.
Antoniette volunteered to pick her up and bring her back to Nashville, where Denise, the girl that was fostering Libby, will be waiting for her.
How wonderful, everything is just working out great.
We found one a home and rescued another.
The girls name is Azelia and she is 2 years old. She needs to be spayed,
and we will take car of that.
Also today, Beckett, another sheepie of ours, is going to his forever home
in MD, his foster mom will take him.
Great Day, all around.
What a great day, Ingrid! :D
GREAT DAY FOR SHEEPIES!!!!!!!!
:D :D :D
I cannot begin to tell everyone thank you for getting Libby here to me. I picked her up this afternoon & she is safe & sound at her new home. The kids love her & Sandy is finally glad to get her "big sister". Libby made the trip from Clarksville, TN to Lafayette, LA like a champ. Once I got her home & showed her where her food & water dish were, she drank & ate like a big girl. I am soooooo :D to have her here with me. It was love at first site. I will post pictures of both of my girls.

Woo Hoo! :high5:
What a great day it was ! :D :D :D

Libby is starting her new life with her great new family and Azalea (new name coming soon... Denise her foster mom is giving her a name that fits her a little better) Is home with her new foster family.

I got to say Libby stole my heart she is such a well behaved sweet and gently girl. She deserves all the spoiling she is going to get !! :hearts:

And for the new girl (Azalea) OMG what a Doll !
She ran to my husband and gave him kisses right away .

Her only problem was her hair was in her eyes and she was walking into everything so we stopped on our way back to Tennessee with her and picked up some rubber bands. :D
She let me put in a top knot with no problem and her expression was priceless ! 8O
I swear if she could have talked she would have said ' I CAN SEE ' .

She loves everyone especial kids. When we meet back up with Denise some little girls came running to see Azalea and she was so good, she just loved them. :clappurple:

Here are some pictures of the new rescue girl .
I have pictures of libby also and will post them as soon as they are aproved.
Enjoy!

Wonderful. Simply wonderful.
She is so beautiful.
Thanks again everyone, this was the best day ever.
Libby is home and Missy (her new name) is in foster with Denise.
I just talked to Denise and she said that Missy is just wonderful.
Denise and I are living in the same town, so I will get to see her.
We have to get her shaved, she has lots of mats and then we will
get her spayed.
What a doll she is :D She has the most gorgeous expression, very pretty girl.
Here are the pictures of Libby during her transport HOME !

Wonderful pics, Antoinette. Thanks!

Missy seems like a great name for her. She is beautiful!!!
She is so pretty & you are wonderful to be fostering her!!!......but, I just love the name Azalea (sorry). It's so different & there have been so many Missy's. Did the shelter name her Azalea? I may name my next doggie Azalea.
She's a sweet looking girl and so glad she has a furever home  :D
Is it just me or does Libby looks like she could be Chummie's twin?
She's beautiful and what a great smile! :D
How wonderful!! :clappurple: Bravo to all those who worked together to make BOTH these rescues possible!! :go: I :hearts: happy endings!!
What great stories for two beautiful girls!! :yay:

I agree with Elissa - Libby DOES look a lot like Chum, which means she also looks a lot like my Drez!

And the expression on Missy's face is priceless!

What a happy week-end!! :clappurple: :clappurple:
Libby does look like Chum in the face!

That Missy/Azalea has the sweetest face.
