Look at the picture on the right. At the far right is Steve kneeling, I'm standing next to him with my arms folded, Fozzie is the sheepie with the black tushy half. This is a picture from last year's event.

Just so everyone knows, there is no formal invitation or RSVP required. You just attend! However, if you'd like to ensure you meet us please send me a private message or email so we can discuss details!
Just a reminder for this event. We will definitely be there for the busy sheepie weekend. Anyone else coming? The timing is actually 1:00-3:30. Having trouble editing my original post.

I just found out that I'll be in Canada on a business trip that week, but wouldn't miss any of the sheepie events that weekend for the world! :D Hope to see ya!
Hi Stacy!

We are definitely going to be there!!! I just have to call Cathy Winston to let her know too.

I can't wait! I've never been to on OES festival and I'm very excited. I have to work on Boni so he will do his best. Lumpi is great, he is an angel.

Where in Canada? If in the Toronto area I might be able to provide a sheepie-fix...
Kata...will you be at SheepieFest! too?
Unfortunately, we can't make it to the Sheepiefest.
No problem! We'll meet you on Sunday!
Really looking forward to it! How are we going to recognize each other? Or are there any spots for the forum members? Sorry, for silly questions, this is very new to me.
OH! You'll know me. I'll be the one with the sheepdog! (hee hee).

We'll find each other, just by talking with people there. You can however, look at our pictures (click on the camera icon) and maybe we will be able to see each other!
We'll keep an eye out for ya! I also think we wear name tags :D

:twitch: Sheepdog? I google them so I'll know what to look for.

Stacy, I put a nice big name tag on Boni that says "I am Professor Boniface" :D

Oh my! What another fun day this was at the Chicagoland Rescue event. There were so many sheepies and people that I couldn't even count. Fozzie aka Mr. Social made himself known in every running circle :D

We chatted with so many new and old friends. Most of our time was spent getting to know the wonderful Kata, Charlie, Boni and Lumpi. Boni and Lumpi are joined at the hip, but Fozzie kept tagging along and did get Boni to himself for a bit. Lumpi hilariously pushed sheepies out of the way to get through a tunnel. Here's a funny video of Lumpi. You can see Foz at the beginning peeking in from the side. Then there's Lumpi:

Kata, I think Charlie needs to find a permanent job here in Chicago area so you don't need to leave so soon :( I feel that we really bonded! You are such a genuine person!

I left most of the picture taking to Kata so she'll hopefully post pics soon. I do have two videos which I'll post.

Oh yea, we won raffle prizes too! I won us two sheepie Xmas ornaments and a bag holder. Charlie was very excited to win himself a sheepie beer stein and a sheepie book for Kata :D H
I seriously want some grooming tips from Nita. Nelson still looks fantastic (and I know from meeting him last year what a big ole love he is).

Ya'll look like you all had a fabulously good time.
It was an amazing day yesterday! I have never seen so many Sheepies at once! And I think I know what breed our next puppy is going to be...

I am very glad to meet you Stacy (and Steve and Foozie)! Meeting really nice people is one of the best things about moving so much but leaving them behind is the worst. We have lived in so many places that I could actually make up our own little city with the people I want to live in it, including police men, our post man from Boston, neighbours, etc.

Oh Stacy, I feel the same way! You are a wonderful person and I loved watching Fozzie and Boni shaking their butts. I wish there were more of these festivals or get togethers before we go back to Boston!
Here are some pictures!!!

Everybody was following the "Odd looking" Sheepie, Lumpi.

Not sure if they were trying to herd Lumpi or catch up with him.

Stacy and Steve are trying to get Fozzie go through the tunnel

I love the shade picture!! It always amazes me how many sheepies can fit in a small amount of shade.....

Panda will actually seek out shade even in moonlight! 8O
Of course! Panda is SUCH a romantic!

The funniest things was that we, smart humans were baking on the sun while these smart sheepies were cooling off in the shade.

This is when I question people who says OES are not thought to be smart. Sure. Whatever.
