Hooray! Hooray!
    
Well, we have a first and second choice because the breeder decided to keep one for show, but she said she wouldnt let anyone else see our 2 choices anyway. She will decide in the next few weeks which one she would like to keep which may or may not be one of our 2. Just waiting for the photos to be approved. The one in our avatar is our second choice. They are both boys. The litter was adorable  we are going back in 3 weeks to see how things are going, and as they are only 2 weeks old now, they will have changed alot by then!

They are a 2.5 - 3 hour drive away so it's not easy to go see them. We think the time will go quickly because we should be moving in the next couple of weeks and will be busy making our new house dog proof (well, at least so he can't get out) we did most of our shopping already haha. Here is our first choice, he has more black on him than the other one 
This is our second choice, he has a larger shawl but is taking a little longer to fill in on his nose and lips.

| Just adorable!!!!! One thing to note.... the less white fur, the better! Our first sheepie was mostly black, which turned to grey, so when he got dirty, no big deal. Oscar is probably 70% white, and man, is he hard to keep clean!

| Yesterday we went back to visit the puppies for the last time before we go collect Rufus!
We found out which one of the two will be ours- it's our first choice
He is so, so adorable. He is 5 weeks old now, his eyes are open. He has 2 dark eyes, they looked brown at first but on a second look they seemed to have a slight blue colour, maybe thats just the photo I'm not sure! His nose and around the eyes have filled in, he was so cuddly and playful
The breeders said another of the boys had been named Rufus too! Here are some pics (all of our Rufus)

I am so happy and excited for you, just awesome you got your first choice and what a lil sweetie he is, love his name too.
All sheepie puppys have a slight blue hue to their eyes when they first open, till they develope more in colour, looks like Rufus is going to be a smoochy brown eyed boy.
Geez the wait is a pain aint it.  Suggestion, heaps of puppy shopping to make those next few weeks fly by.

| They are so cute. Take and post lots and lots of pictures. I have tried to take pictures of Bella at every month anniversary. I have been amazed at the changes. She is now 10 months and changed so much I can hardly believe it. It seems impossible that she was just a ball of fluff last January when I look at the horse that she has become. She still thinks that she fits in my lap though. Like I said lots of pictures. |
