These babies are in a very high kill shelter in SC.
Can anyone help or get the word out, please?

They are ADORABLE! I know I'm far away, but I'd be happy to foster!
It's Hoffma - they are so cute! I have a friend looking for a dog if they can make it up to Ohio. I would love to take them both!!

WOW !!! Lab and sheepdog mix. Two of my favorite breeds Very Happy They look like sheepies to me. Any southern rescues able to take a look?? I know foster homes are at a premium but I bet these two will go fast. How long do they have?
anyone in rescue anyomre in miami ?? i will see if they have web site
I know it's a stretch- but if anyone can get these cuties to me my rescue will take them!
I spoke with them earlier this morning. Both Colleen and Faith are still there and they would be happy to have a rescue assist these two. I wrote to one area rescue to see if they would be interested in assisting but haven't yet heard back.

Does this place actually have a history of being a high kill? I think the lady's name was Debra that I spoke with.. she told me that they would try to find them homes. I asked if they'd be euthanized if they became sick and she said they'd treat them.

She mentioned that they have a couple of brown pups that are 6-7 months old that they've had since 4 weeks of age. Shocked She asked if I knew someone who might like to adopt them... they interact as much as possible with them but they've grown up in a cage.

If someone has heard differently, please let me know... maybe they're high kill when it comes to adults?? Confused
Hi,
This is the latest I heard about those two;
ProjectHalo agreed to take them, and I have agreeed to drive them to Charlotte area. BUT I am still waiting to hear back from Gloria, the original poster. I do know that the shelter was closed today. As soon as I hear from Gloria I will let you all know asap. Thanks! Tanya

Maybe we can find someone to take the brown doggies? That makes me sad Sad

Old English Sheepdog Rescue of Florida is in the Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area. They are wonderful. That is where I got my Rheba. They have a website. www.oesrfl.org

Check them out. They have done so many great things for sheepies.
It's so great how everyone is quick to help out these puppies!

I was wondering though, what is a kill shelter? It sounds awful. Sad
Any info or updates on the brown pups?
I LIVE IN COLUMBIA SC AND I HAVE NO REAL PLANS THIS WEEKEND. I CAN TRANSPORT TO CHARLOTTE,BUT YOU WILL NEED TOE-MAIL ME AND I WILL TRY TO REMEMBER TO CK MY MAIL OVER THE WEEKEND.

Exactly what you think it is, unfortunately. If the animal is there over a certain amount of time, they're euthanized.
